There are good arguments to get rid of Caponi and this isn’t one of them.
-
Yeah, but some people aren't even on board with the short leash.
-
Some can. They can have language that allows for re-assignment rather than termination. And, with said reassignment, a new pay-rate.

Tony Mitchell sighting at airport
greenminer replied to Ross Hodgeson's topic in Mean Green Basketball
Would love to see both of them return for the TBT tournament and suit up for Bleed Green. IIRC, Jones is on board but the logistics of it (coming from overseas, timing, etc) make it really hard to participate. -
Let's put you at Mosley's table for 10 minutes. Mosley: "We're keeping Caponi for another year, because we believe with a full recruiting cycle, he gets a fair chance to build the roster he needs. We will have at least one year of continuity on the DC position. Caponi understands the optics of this, and our expectations for year 2. If we hire a new guy NOW, we are bringing in ANOTHER DC and with him, a new system - a square system - to try and work with these round players." You: what's your response?

I think some people really enjoy the back-and-forth, in "good sports fun". I don't care for it, but they aren't going to listen to me. So I have to sort through all this garbage back-and-forth to get the content I want to read. Different people come here for different experiences. Nothing we can do about it.

If you're wondering how much money is being thrown around for these top players. (I wonder how many of these offers flop?)

What accounts can you follow for this type of update? I found one, curious if any of y'all have other suggestions https://www.instagram.com/transferportal/

Never good enough to get hired away Never bad enough to be an obvious fire career 0.500 guy sounds eerily familiar Thankful for the time we had, but glad we didn't wait 18 years to move on.

yeah, the title could use some clarification. Like, put "PWO" in their or whatever it is. -
How much do we still owe Littrell?

He lost that chance when he entertained KSU, whether it was for real or for a raise in Denton. -

him and Booger for me. With Tony, I thought, "There's no way this guy won't be in the NBA." His presence under the basket was like nothing I had ever seen before, nor seen since he left. -
This board is crowded with Caponi frustration. What else do you want to read?
-
Yeah, never understood this one either.

Kinda wild, if you think about it. -
He’s trolling yall please don’t respond

Kevin Jennings, RS-FR, led South Oak Cliff to a Texas state title. KJ has played sparingly in 2023, but has promising stats 18-24 w/3 TDs this year. Also, some rushing 12 for 28 yards and score.
-
Worst defense in Denton ever, IMO, was under Mendoza/Todge.

65 years old.

The Elko hire is nothing like the Jimbo hire. I would consider the Jimbo hire about as "splash" as you can be, and don't expect them to try that again...not for a while anyways. This is not a "keep doing what you're doing and you'll keep getting the same results" move.

FYI, there's a forum for this topic now. https://www.gomeangreen.com/forums/forum/38-conference-realignment/

I thought Traylors frustration with UTSA’s budget was very public? Am I remembering wrong?
-
If what the board has been saying is true, Scholarships are annual. There’s a handshake agreement upon coming in that you will get it renewed every year until you finish, but it can be canceled/not renewed if the coaches choose to do so.
-
I think it'll be Fritz or Traylor.

orrrrr....opposing defenses have figured out Morris.
