Most teams play 2-3 games every year where they are not playing as fast or hard as they normally do. FAU has lost so few games going back to last season, I don't know how they respond. Having said that, I would not want to be their next opponent.

The limit of 85 applies only to scholarships, not NIL. So, in theory, they can have unlimited NIL on the football roster. NIL vs. Title IX. Something’s gonna give.

I think a more relevant point would be, look at previous year transfer rankings, and see how that compares to final results/standings.

I'm not handing out an F to Hodge just because we have failed to live up to my expectations. Some of you are. To me, an F is Bedford-like failing. I think we all kinda feel the same (disappointment), just with different ideas of the grade scale.

I think we try and keep Stone Earle no matter what. If Earle second-guessed his ACU commitment and reached out to us, we don't turn him away.

I think in a few years, after people get used to what this new CFB world feels like, you'll still see fans. I think there's still just a ton of lingering frustration as we are still in the early year(s) of this.

I can understand the move. Letting people play for 2 weeks, then the TRO gets reversed...their position and what they would have to decide on those who actually played during that window...that would be a nightmare.

There is no scenario where a G5 can establish this kind of brand/identity. Not since the creation of the P5/G5/BCS stuff. Now, it's even worse: with NILs groups able to bid freely - with no cap - for the services of players, these student-athletes are leveraging their abilities in the portal and leaving places like Alabama/USC/etc to command more money.

Plot twist: Earle actually did outplay Rogers in the Spring, and got easily rattled when it came to game time. Is there some reason that isn't possible?
