I thought for sure, slugging it out night after night with FAU, we could get at least one to swing in our favor. But they kept coming out on top. Frustrating to never get over that hump. Not once in two seasons/5 tries. I think Dusty is a top name at Ohio State Louisville, right? He'll be gone, Davis will leave with him (maybe go somewhere else, though), and I won't miss them.
-
Does the new guy, Taylor?, compliment Rubin/Edwards really well? Or is he going to back up/replace one of them?
-
FAU defense is amazing, and they are winning the rebounds.

Is there any coach in the country that has flown under the radar the last 20 years more than JJ?
-
Nothing released yet, but this gives me cautious optimism.
-
I see this sentiment every time a fanbase gets an upgrade in conference. Then they get there, forget that thought, and start believing the current refs are the worst they've ever seen.
-
I have this wild, baseless belief and hope that the winner of UNT-FAU will win the whole dang enchilada.
-
Is this just pessimism or do you know something we don't? I've thought about it being just stress, which would be good news, or appendicitis, which would be awful for everyone. Recovery from surgery would extend beyond the tournament.
-
I've thought about this. That we do such a great job containing Goldin, but Davis goes off. Maybe we need to reverse this approach?
-
You could apply this worry to a handful of teams, couldn't you?
-
This is what you get when you only have one court. Anyone else miss those fabulous curtains? (sarcasm)

oh look, they're multiplying. Don't even need tweets or source links.

I think weather is going to have to be considered, if you're not thinking about it already.

Hey Mods/Admins, how about a mega thread for AAC Coaching Rumors, unifying threads like this along with anything we see about Dusty May? Just a thought. Or, we can continue to see a new thread for every single tweet some of our members find. I prefer the former.

Doesn't even look like Rogers will start at Cal

We are barely entering Spring practice. I don’t think they’ve made any decisions with the incoming xfers, and they will all be given a chance to unseat last years starter. -
They’ve done lower, but this seems awkward, regardless of my Mean Green bias. Did the AAC need the money that bad? Was this through Dickies, and they not read the room?

WBB conference quarterfinal vs. Rice (3/11/24)

Wow! Congrats Owls -
Tell me about walk-up tickets. Can I expect tickets at door to be about the same as advance/internet pricing?

"tough to beat a team 3 times in one year" is more coach speak than meant as a truism, with the intent to keep the players focused and not slack when facing an opponent they have already beat twice. And, stating the obvious, we can lose to Tulane if we are not focused.

Have the AAC All-MBB teams been released yet? I suspect Edwards will get 1st or 2nd team honors for his point production. RJ, possibly AScott too, will get defensive honors.
-
Do you have reason to believe it is false? Or you think it diminishes Edwards' value (it doesn't)?

Even the UT base knows they were gifted that W. -
You don't even have to watch the team to know this, though I hope people are lol I was just echoing what Hodge said in the post-UAB interviews. Paraphrasing, "Blazers are so, so strong and match up perfectly against our weaknesses."
