Canales went 2-3 or a 40% winning percentage. If Mac wins 5 games and goes 5-7 will you say he had as much success as Canales?

If Neinas is doing his job, leaks about the true next HC won't be coming out. That's one of the reasons we hired him.

How do you know he'll be at the game? Does he attend many NT basketball games as a casual fan? I would give my left testicle if they announced him as our next HC Tuesday.

After reading the title of this thread, I thought somebody started a discussion on one of my favorite movies starring Demi Moore and Rob Lowe. "Was she a pro"? "At this point, I still don't know". Greatness!

Not counting Canales out because he has really grown on me to the point that if he is hired, I would be happy with the decision. I thought though that RV was quoted as saying they were narrowing the search down to someone that has been out of coaching for several years ie Fran not Dan. I have to admit I would still love to see Leavitt hired and Chico stay on as OC but doubt that would happen. I wouldn't mind Bowden coming in either but the more I think about it my top choice now is for Fran to come in and bring his son in as OC and groom him to take over the HC position down the road.

If RV hires Bower, you guys are going to have to worry about me leaving. That is the only hire possible that will make me give up on RV completely. Okay, I won't quit completely, I'll still come to games and do haiku with my buddies on this board but I won't enjoy it as much.

Which brings up the point why did Byrd only have 4 carries? You don't leave an injured player in the game so he can take it easy. Let him take it easy on the sideline and let a very capable backup take over.
