the cons of keeping RV around gets longer and longer all the time. I think the cons have outweighed the pro's for quite some time now.

We have 100's of F'ed up things we should be concerned with, how people do the talon isn't one of them.

The people in Muenster are very loyal and dedicated to their school and football. Hopefully a bunch of them will want to follow the local star and head to Denton on Saturdays.

I agree with everything except I don't believe Denton promotes our fine arts or music depts. I have attended 2 performances in the last 3 years at the Murchinson and there were 50 people tops at both performances.

if we only win 2 or 3 games this coming season, I don't think we can afford NOT to buy out McCarney's contract.

It's related in that Tech got him to sign a 4 year deal where we thought we had to give a HS coach with no college head coaching experience a 5 year deal. Letting Dodge stay for the 4th year so we only bought out 1 year of his contract absolutely damaged this progam.

Not the discussion, the sticking of the head in the sand and trying to convince everybody that everything is just fine and dandy at good ole North Texas State.

This has happened here for as long as I have been reading this board. Instead of addressing the real problem of poor coaching, bad attitude's, etc. People would rather nit pick someones opinion, wording, or spelling. Might be why our athletic dept has never made major steps forward.

We don't have anybody good enough or consistent enough to be considered part of the big 3.

Unfortunately, its all about the W's. Nothing else matters.

Nobody said RV hasn't accomplished anything, you defending everything UNT is getting past the point of ridiculous. As far as anybody basing their opinion on RV compared to past AD's, I can see why people think UNT alum have very, very, low expectations. Damn, who cares how anti-athletic our past administrations have been, most here except incompetence and in fact, endorse it as well.

What great things has RV done?

As least we can all look forward to someone coming on and blowing sugar kisses up everyones ass about how great everything is and to not worry. Everything is just fine at good ole UNT.

Damn, we just keep shooting ourselves in the foot over, and over, and over. I don't care if we have Dwight Howard on our team, the casual Dentonite is not going to come to The Pit to see this type of play.

I really hope the WR transfer from UT pans out. I watched some of his highlight reels from HS and he was impressive. Crossing fingers but hard to forget about past transfers that had a lot of potential.

The people that believe cashiers, floor sweepers, stockers, etc need more money are the same ones that bitch when the price of goods go up to cover increased pay.
