Nobody is offended by these terms. This is just somebody trying to justify a meaningless job coming up with some nonsense to work on. I just don't believe that people are such insecure pussies that they would get butt hurt over such terms. Like someone mentioned in an earlier post, the pussification of America continuous.

I want to be excited about the throwback uniforms, I really do. In almost every aspect of my life I am a very positive person. However, after so many years of disappointment with the AD, I have a feeling that very little time, thought, and effort will be put into this very special milestone. I feel like I will be very underwhelmed, I certainly hope I am proven wrong.

The SF rail workers union was going on strike because the workers had to pay $92 per month, not paycheck, but month, for their portion of medical, dental, and vision insurance and the union thought that was way too high. That demand is absolutely outrageous.

Sharpton doesn't speak for the entire black community just like Limbaugh doesn't speak for the entire white community. If everybody bettered themselves as an individual, then collectively all races, groups, etc would improve as a whole. RV has been given a lot of credit for things he simply doesn't deserve. He took an athletic dept that was absolutely the worst in sports and made it descent. If that makes you feel warm and fuzzy and exceeds your expectations, so be it but I demand so much more than that.

39 would be disastrous? What would 4-8 or 5-7 be? This is the highest paid coach and coaching staff ever at NT going into their 3rd full year. 6-6 keeps them another year but on the hot seat, 7-5 or better should be not only expected but demanded from every alum, fan, player, coach, administrator, RV, Diet Coke Boy, and albino squirrel on campus. Mediocrity pisses me off!

I predict someone will come on here and tell you that you are part of the problem, that you should blindly follow everything NT and to not ever, ever, second guess anything the AD does. Damn it, everything is just perfect here and no changes at all need to be made.

Exactly. Some people want to keep believing that we are still this little teacher college with low earning alumns that don't or won't give. We have a big business dept (we have other impressive dept's as well but using business as an example because I am familiar with it) with some very successful alumn's that make a very good living. You don't have to be the CEO to make a decent amount of money and we do have plenty of business alum that fit that bill. Like UNT90 said, if the AD really wanted to buy out Benford's contract, we could raise the money quickly. We as a university HAVE to get out of this mindset that we can't do certain things now just because we couldn't in the past. NT is completely different in so many ways that there is no comparison to even 5-7 years ago.

Andrew, haven't you learned that everybody is a dumbass and you are the most intelligent guy ever. It's your job to point that out to the masses. You are going to be extremely successful in life, no doubt.
