  1. And isnt breaking ground still breaking ground? The ground will be broken. Its better than unbroken ground........................broken.
  2. http://www.wfaa.com/video/index.html?nvid=346428&shu=1 Surprised this wasnt posted already.
  3. My understanding is that the game will NOT be on ESPN360. There was a mixup in the schedules somewhere. I know for a fact that NTTV is not feeding the game and I'm almost positive that Premium is not feeding it to them. Sorry for the bad news.
  4. Awesome. gruu could you send me an email on how I could get a copy of that DVD? jasonc1025 [at] gmail.com Thank you
  5. NTTV Sports is looking for any pictures, video, or even film reels of the Snake Pit. We would like to use this game as chance to look back at UNT basketball as well as a look to the future. And if anyone out there has any stories from their time in the old Pit we would love to get them on tape. Please email if you are interested in helping out nttvsports@gmail.com
  6. I know they sometimes have those flags in the Union store. I know thats where my parents bought one.
  7. No TV. The next televised game will be the WKU game on Nov 1st.
  8. I do my best to make sure we (NTTV) give all the facts on the referendum, and I believe we have. But for full disclosure, all of us at NTTV Sports and the vast majority of NTTV are in full support of the stadium and the athletic referendum. A better program is much easier (and more interesting) to cover.
  9. Hell yeah I do. Of course I wont be a student, but I may be working all those TV games we will get.
  10. At least 7 of the NTTV crew brought in YES votes.
  11. There are almost as many computers on campus as students. The Union, GAB, Willis, Wooten, Business, and many other buildings on campus have computer access. The only thing keeping students from voting will be themselves.
  12. *facepalm* I want a reset of this weekend.
  13. For the OU broadcast?
  14. Yeah I'm going to cut the highlights tomorrow (Monday) and post them on the NTTV Sports blog Don't know the exact time, but Ill post a link here the moment hey are live.
  15. If you couldnt make it to the Soccer game on Friday you can catch it on NTTV (Charter 22/Verizon 46) @ 12pm. This is our first broadcast of the year and our first Soccer Broadcast ever. I say that because it was a rough broadcast, we had almost a brand new crew. But as the game goes on the camera work does get better. The biggest thing that I am working on is keeping the cameras on the same filters and iris levels. The 1st half gets really dark at the end. Sunsets are a pain for a production. We can only get better.
  16. Yep. Even when we go Live, I want the stands to be filled. Not only does it look better on TV (even though all our cameras will be on the stands side, and thats a topic I dont want to get into), but NTTV isnt there to get viewers. We are there to spread NT Athletics and for people to say "Hey that was a great game, I'm going to go next time/right now."
  17. There are a couple of problems with covering Tennis (even just highlights) First: we need scaffolding to get over the fence. Which we are getting because we need it for Softball. Second: even once we have scaffolding we will only be able to set up on one court. Third: I just checked out the schedule and it looks like we wont be able to get to Tennis, in a broadcasting sense. The two tournaments are scheduled at "bad" times. The first one (Sept 12-14) we wont have all the proper equipment. The 2nd (Nov 7-9) is during the Sun Belt Soccer Championship, which we will be covering. So "skip to the end", NTTV Sports can't do much with Tennis this semester. Sorry untbowler.
  18. I wish. We don't really have a budget nor the capabilities to send a full production crew to away games. Its something I hope to set in motion for the NTTV of the near future. We will be tape delay on the next three home games. Hopefully we can broadcast the rest of the season live (as well as replays). I am working on getting fiber lines worked out now. We use the fiber system to get the basketball games back to the station. Once we work out all the fiber lines we should be able to go live from Soccer, Softball, Volleyball, Fouts and The Pit. In addition to the Soccer games, we are planning on doing 4 volleyball games and the last 3 home football games. And we are also set to broadcast the Sun Belt Soccer Championship not only on NTTV, but on Sun Belt Extra as well. Its going to be a great semester for NTTV Sports.
  19. NTTV will begin its coverage of Mean Green Soccer this week with the OU game on Friday. Due to certain circumstances we can not broadcast live at the moment. So we will air the game Saturday Sept 6th @ Noon. But don't wait to watch the game, come out and support the Ladies. It should be a great game.
  20. It's 2-0 right? Green and White game dosent really count. And the games are fun, except for when you forget to put on sunblock. My flesh is burning!
  21. I can't promise anything at the moment, but I am working on getting the Cowboys Sports Network broadcast here to Denton, on NTTV. So if anybody can't make it to Stillwater, we should, hopefully, have the game here.
  22. Either Press Box 3rd level or on the Sideline. Media Passes are fun.
  23. If it says "All-Play" on the case then its the new line of EA Sports games that are for the "whole" family. Meaning Grandma and the 5 year olds can play and understand it or whatever. In short, meaning dumbed down.
  24. Yeah you just need a logo and they will throw it on anything. and then charge an arm and a leg for it. but everyone knows that you can be really classy with your logo on thongs. So I guess they got us beat there.
  25. Alright then that what I remember. Parabolic mic or Camera. Same difference.
