Their win in Ruston can't be discounted and blanking Rice 42-0 raises my eyebrow. This will be a tough game for us. Can we win? Yes, but we have to eliminate the mistakes. It'll be a good challenge for us. This week would have been a good time for the IPF.

Heard this morning on WBAP that here were 4 people arrested for engaging in illegal voter registration/fraud. There was an attempt to find out if they were republican or democrat. "They" were unable to release that information which tells me they were democrats! If they had been republicans, it would be front page news. However, we all know that this is an age old tactic used by the democratic party. The party of no issues, no respect for the rule of law, the party of mob mentality and the party of socialism. They can't win an election straight up. Only by cheating. #vetobeto

Of course, all of this talk is mute if we don't fumble the punt on our own 10 yard line and give them an easy TD right before the half. That decided the game right there. We made too many mistakes and they didn't make any.

I tend to agree. When playing out west, the scores come in late and are either ignored or forgotten by the end of the day. Difficult travel destinations too. Slightly different situation, but Tex Schramm wanted the Cowboys in the NFC East because of better game times and better press coverage as a result of the times zone.

I hope this week hasn't been too much of a distraction. Don't need to stump our toe against Liberty after such a great week. GO MEAN GREEN!

We were approached several times (mostly older fans) and congratulated for playing a good game. Very classy as I'm sure they were humiliated by the loss. I reciprocated by saying that times will get better once Morris gets his type of players (insert QB) here.

The night we beat Cincinnati in the NOB, I told my wife then, that we may never see a better football team at North Texas. Ever. However, I may just have to adjust my thinking on that. THIS may be the best football we've ever seen at North Texas and the season has just started. Good things are happening at the University of North Texas and not just athletics. Thank you President Smatresk, the BOR, Wren Baker and Seth Littrell. Let's hope new contracts are coming for all. Buy season tickets. Join the MGSF GO MEAN GREEN!

Taking 4 with me and meeting my brother and two others in Fayettville. Renting a SUV and driving up game day and back. Arkansas folks advised to park at the baseball field and shuttle to the stadium. Hope to see the Alumni folks there! GO MEAN GREEN!
