I agree, especially early on. He seemed to get better as the game moved along. Haven't seen enough on Aune to form a strong opinion one way or another.

When will the starter be announced?

It all depends on QB play. Whoever it is has got to be capable of stretching the field with his arm with accuracy. If not, we'll see 8 men in the box taking away the run. 5-6 men can't block 8. If we get good QB play, then look out!

Someone had posted in a different thread that we may see both on the field, depending on the situation. I can see Aune getting the starting nod, with Bean coming in on certain situations where his running ability can give the opposing teams defense a different look. Short yardage plays maybe? -
We're one of a handful of schools playing on Sept. 5th. Any TV scheduling in the works? We should take advantage, if possible, of playing early.
