  1. Now that I'm out of Steamboat Willies GMG purgatory, I find it amusing that this whole discussion was made because of a video from two MD's who have studied this disease and who I feel made coherent points, albeit different from ol SBW. I never advocated wearing or not wearing a mask and don't, or never assigned blame to anyone, except the Chinese government. My original statement regarding attendance and whether or not I will purchase season tickets is a reflection of me having to deal with this disease on a professional level and it's effect on me personally. I too had Covid back in November and thank God, I recovered without hospitalization. I've seen many people die from it and I've seen many more get better and go home. I wore many layers of PPE at work and yet, still contracted it. Even when out in public, I wore my mask like a good soldier. My true feeling is that I am just tired both physically from the daily care of these poor folks and from the mental strain as well. One of the few outlets I have aside from my family and friends, is attending UNT sporting events. I just long for a return to normalcy. Whether it happens or not, I guess we'll see. If I'm asked to wear a mask, then I'll wear a mask. The really sad thing is, if a differing point of view is presented, it's attacked as irresponsible and reckless. If I'm labeled as a neanderthal, so be it. So to think this topic isn't political is a joke. The whole issue became political as soon as this disease hit our shores. Perhaps we'll return to a United front someday, but as this whole thread has demonstrated, it's doubtful. At any rate, let's cheer our team to victory tonight. GO MEAN GREEN!
  2. Steamin, I can always count on you for the doom and gloom perspective on life. If your waiting for 100% assurance that it is safe to walk across the street, then you just need to stay home in your cave and watch whatever you watch to "inform" yourself. You are a fool because you think you know everyone and everything. I don't propose ant-anything. I only wish to offer a different perspective to this whole thing that you are scared to death of. So take your holier than thou opinions and stick it way up where the sun doesn't shine and maybe we'll see you at a game one day Peace out
  3. I hope you're right. I'd just like to hear a commitment from the AD.
  4. Give the NFL scouts a second look at Mason too!
  5. Hey Gray! I've had the dreaded Covid AND been vaccinated. A few weeks ago, the Crimson Tide announced they would be at full capacity for their games this upcoming season and I was wondering if anyone else in the college football world was going to follow their lead. I would have no problem attending our games if we did the same. However, if we are still going to limit attendance there's a good chance I'll not attend many games. I understand the caution, but last season was a real downer for more reasons than one.
  6. Do we know yet if the AD or CUSA is going to allow full seating capacity this season, or is this season going to be subjected to the same 25% capacity and no band? I may wait on my season ticket renewal until an announcement is made.
  7. We'll pass that on to the coaching staff. I'm sure it was an honest mistake on their part...🤨
  8. Damn it! I was looking forward to that match up.
  9. So, what's the update, if any, on the spring game? I need to make plans for work.
  10. So...he actually DID sign with us...right?
  11. Who says this is a move up?
  12. So, who sweeps whom? 🤔
  13. He'll always be remembered for his game winning catch for "the drive," but what was his best game statistically?
  14. Agreed. It's Aune's job to lose.
