So explain to me exactly how smut benefits the PAC 12? And don't tell me it opens the door for recruiting purposes. Any PAC 12 school can, and do, recruit D/FW and Texas anytime they want to. They don't need smut for that. They are a backfill school for when the others bolt.

That's exactly why the SWC big dogs left smu in the dust when they left to form the Big 12. Smu didn't bring anything to the table then, and they don't now.
