  1. I'm going 7 - 5 with an upset of Cal. Those west coast boys can't take the Texas heat!
  2. Dude, this part if the state is horse country. I'm not surprised that we're a top team.
  3. Is this going to be an ongoing issue with recruiting HS players? Stay one or two years to develop, then bolt?
  4. Me too. I met them in San Antonio and thought they were very nice. I told them I thought he had a bright future at North Texas.
  5. If I give any more money, it'll be to the NIL.
  6. He is Risen, indeed!
  7. I agree with the assessment. Ruder looked sharp and has a rocket for an arm. We're stacked at RB and receiver, but the place kicking looks shakey The defense was flying to the ball and the QBs didn't have much time to set and throw. They're definitely ahead of the offense which was not unexpected. O line looks big and opened a few running holes, but were beaten frequently on pass blocking. Overall, a lot of energy and enthusiasm. Thanks to Silver Eagle for the company and commentary!
  8. Learned about this, this morning. Sad news indeed.
  9. Good recruiting tool too!
  10. What time is the scrimmage on Saturday?
  11. Understood. But why would UNT sign such a clause knowing someone is going to recruit GM sooner or later. If they want him bad enough, then let them pay up!
  12. I know several Mean Green board members who could fill that bill!
  13. What difference does it make whether Wren is here or not? GM still is/was our BB coach.
  14. Just "love" how this picture shows us his back. How appropriate.
  15. That's OK. The team didn't need that type of distraction during the tournament.
  16. So it looks like the "family emergency" thing was a smoke screen after all. At least he waited until after the tournament to announce his transfer intensions. Well, good luck. I guess.
  17. I want the "Toughest team wins" shirt.
  18. I want to say thank you to Grant and his family. He has taken us to heights we've never been to before and I am thankful to have been to (most of) the games the past six years. My wife has even become a basketball fan! She prefers going to games at the SP over Apogee! Grant is our family now and like any family member, we want what's best for him. If it's Texas Tech, so be it and I hope he is as successful as he was here. So, thank you Grant, for making us a relevant basketball school as we move forward to the AAC. Good luck at your next stop.
  19. We're assuming Ross isn't going to Lubuttocks too.
  20. Good for him.
