  1. It was a great game last night. The defense finially showd how they can play, our freshman played very well and the Green Brigade, well, they are a great college band. Just one or two more things would have made it a perfect night. Why can't we get scores from other games 2 or 3 times during our game? Especially when it is a TV game with long timeouts. Couldn't the north side scoreboard scroll scores during that time? Didn't hear a tcu score or an Auburn/Arkansas update. Also, it seemed like every re-play we really wanted to see, wasn't shown. Other than that, it was an excellent game atmosphere.
  2. Unbelievable! It never ceases to amaze me how thin-skinned some of these people are. Rick, as usual, you show an amaizing amount of class by not calling this person out by name, even though he obviously has none by dressing you down in front of your kid. Coach, you need your ass kicked for that. What a coward! Just remember, these guys are only here until they land that next job. So Coach, suck it up and just get the job done and everything will be fine. In the meantime, Rick you are the epitome of class and have done more for this university than most of us could even think of doing. You didn't deserve that. Smetimes, it aint easy to be Mean Green.
  3. Let me add my 2 cents on the IV thing. Players receiving IV fluid before, during and after a game is no big deal. In fact, it's very routine. It is mainly intended to get fluids in FAST and to head off cramping. It doesn't necessarily mean they're dehydrated. Only 2 players received IV's BEFORE the OU gave. None a the half and none after the game. Again, not a big cause for concern.
  4. According to my inside source, there were no major injuries except for a lot of brused egos.

  9. Ditto! Have a great one George!
  10. Can someone explain what, if any, difference there is between what TD runs as opposed to Mike Leach?
  11. Under scenario B, which we would all love to see, how long do you think TD will stick around with that kind of success? I see him replacing Fran at A&M if we have early, big success and Fran continues to come in 3rd or 4th in the South. Enjoy this while you can.
  12. Also, don't assume Daniel Meager has automatically become a quarterback that can get the ball to a receiver. I hope he has, I hope he has very much.
  13. It's the best job in the world.
  14. I know! What a slacker!! Must be that football camp that is going on this week. Speaking of which, my son attended the one day junior/senior camp yesterday and there must have been 150 + kids in attendance. There were a lot of good looking athletes there with plenty of size and speed. TD told everyone in attendance that there will be a new stadium in '09 or '10. At the end of camp and right before everyone ate lunch, the assistant coaches hooked up with the kids in the areas they recruite and had a chat session. I was very impressed with the days activities. We will definetly see some benefit with Dodge and crew.
  15. Yep! My son will be there!
  16. Thanks!
  17. Go to www.meangreensports.com. On the left hand side is a link for "camps." All the info you need is right there.
  18. Cooley / SOC You tease!!
  19. Well, when you come off consecutive 2-9, 3-8 seasons, you aren't expected to beat too many people. With TD at the helm, we have the potential to be much better, especially if we can just keep the defense off the field more. But potential means you haven't done it yet.
  20. I couldn't agree more. Pathetic turnout for the one tournament game here. Those not in attendance missed a great game!
  21. Me too, Harry! Thanks! Scott
