I'm about to fly my Texas flag to commemorate the 13 days of glory that occured in February-March, 1836. On a related note, can anyone tell me why we can't design a North Texas battle flag with the Alumni logo on it? Other schools in Texas do it. How cool would that be? I'm sure I heard somewhere that there is some legal reason why it hasn't been done. Perhaps FFR can shed some light on this topic. Thanks, and GO MEAN GREEN!

Great vid. But stop already with the jerky video. Every NT production, whether it's a halftime school promo, or for recruiting, has that damn jerky video! It really gives it a low-budget look. Looks like a Jerry Bruckhimer (sp) movie!

I hate smoo because they're afraid of us. They won't play us in football because it's "beneath them", and they won't play us in basketball because they know we would wipe the floor with them. Screw them. Let's move on and worry about those schools with the balls to play us.

Didn't make the uta game, but I heard we had new green uniforms that were debuted that night. Anyone have a description or pictures they can share?

My point is that if we get left out of the next round of re-alignment, the Belt should be proactive and invite those schools that have some regional interest. Butts in seats is the name of the game and I believe UTSA and TX St fans would travel better than the "eastern" Belt teams currently do to Denton. It's better than standing pat, IMHO.

I would like for Vito, or you Harry, to ask RV straight up if we are one of the schools being onsidered for CUSA/MWC membership. I would like to hear his answer.

I could'nt agree more. If this scenario plays out, the Sunbelt should extend and invite to NMSU, La. Tech, Texas St. and UTSA. I believe the conference would be better off with this re-alignment. At least for now.

Brilliant! I have long held the notion that the "City" of Denton and the Denton Record Chronicle, have long had their collective heads up their colletive asses. It is, and long has been, a backward thinking town. Forward thinking towns like Grapevine, Frisco and others in the area have taken advantage of their location and assests and have capitalized on them. It is nearly impossible to get anything from a business nature started in Denton. It's no wonder the infrstructure is what it is. Denton's leadership is a joke.

Make it so, Number One.

Or it could be that if your going to invest playing time for a QB, let it be in someone you're going to have for four years instead of just two.
