I've always the band to go the "Jazz" look with black pants, a green sport coat, a black fidora hat (a la Tom Landry) and sunglasses. Now THAT would be cool. I think it would also be cool if one senior (different one for each home game) would do a solo "Star Spangled Banner" before every home game. They use to do that at the Cowboy games years ago. It was a great radition that JJ let go of.

I just sent a brief email to Dr. Rawlins in support of free speech, freedom of expression and support for Chick-fil-A to remain on campus. It riles me that some people/groups preach tolerance, while at the same time, being intolerant of others opinion. I suppose as long as we all think the same, it's "tolerance." But don't you dare disagree or you're a bigot/racist. O.K. Fire away, but GEAUX MEAN GREEN!

Auburn University has their golden (War) eagle fly to mid-field every game. I wonder how they do it. Of course, we'd have to have a baldy.

Unbelievable nonsense. One either likes to eat there or they don't. Support them or don't. People have a right to their opinion, like it or not. I doubt Chick fil a will be impacted one way or another except getting a ton of free publicity. EAT MORE CHICKEN!

Don't get me wrong, I am all for the hotel/convention center being built, and the sooner, the better. I just don't think the elected officials are thinking out of the box when it comes to development. While the project will have involvement from the city, I doubt the idea originated with anyone in city government. Maybe I'm wrong. Just my opinion and impression of the City of Denton.
