  1. But give me the albino squirrel over that stupid crow "caw" anyday. Nice to hear that the eagle "screech" has been instilled once again. GO MEAN GREEN!
  2. You have to have people in place before you clean house to ensure a smooth transition.
  3. La cerveza mas fina!
  4. Si
  5. Taquilla
  6. Sorry dude, but you are not the problem. But you are typical as someone who throws out criticism to others, as if our teams problems are easy to correct. Yet you can't take heat when criticism comes your way. My advice, let the professionals do their job. Lead, follow or get the hell out of the way. GO MEAN GREEN!
  7. Then maybe you should get your ass out there. I'm sure you can block, run, pass better than what we throw out there. Hell, call the plays too. Submit your resume to Wren Baker. I'm sure you'll get a call.
  8. Boo frickety hoo! I guess those mean North Texas players are mean. They hurt our poor, ineffective QB!
  9. I just hope we can look respectable, beat the point spread and come out healthy and ready to take on Rice with both barrels loaded. GO MEAN GREEN!
  10. Ah, the old, "I walked into the door" excuse...
  11. I don't think we have the numbers to red shirt anyone this year. It's all hands on deck.
  12. GA tickets are $20 at the gate. I imagine one could find an empty seat or two close to mid field. Rice Stadium is huge.
  13. Dude. No more "CAW!" That is the lamest thing I've ever seen/heard. Eagles screetch. Crows caw. Let's at least get that right.
  14. I predict Morris will have a much better game this week.
  15. Most exciting band in the country? I would imagine Grambling might have something to say about that. Speaking of suggestions, a few years ago, I sent a letter to the then band Director (don't remember his name) and seriously suggested that the band change from the "traditional" band uni, to a more "contemporary" if you will, uniform consisting of a dark green sports coat, with white shirt, green tie, black pants and topped off with a black fedora, ala the Blues Brothers. Include sun glasses, of course. I'm sure it was not taken seriously, but I think it would be very cool and would be a tribute to our jazz heritage. Just one man's opinion. GO MEAN GREEN!
  16. Disappointing that Morris didn't man up and attend the post game press conference. As a fifth year senior, he should know the QB needs to show leadership and be accountable for his performance.
  17. So which would we all prefer if the opportunity to choose ever happened? The AAC or MWC? Give me the AAC.
  18. Agreed.
  19. Not happy with the loss or the overall performance, but I'm looking forward to the next game. I'll be there wearing green! GO MEAN GREEN!
  20. It allows Fine to grow up a little bit and not have the weight of the world on his shoulders. Give him a little bit each week, and depending how the season unfolds, make him your starter toward the end of the season. Playing during mop up time does not give an accurate guage how he would do as a starter. College defenses are much more advanced than what he saw in high school.
  21. Gotta remember. This is a new coaching staff with new schemes on offense and defense, lots of new players, and a good QB with lots of rust to shake off from riding the pine for four years. They will get better as the season rolls on. The biggest in game performance is often seen between the first and second week of the season. I think everyone will learn from their mistakes and improve each week. In the meantime, Keep Calm, keep showing up, wear your green, keep yelling encouragement, drink beer and we'll see improvement and a couple of wins along the way. GO MEAN GREEN!
  22. Hope to see a lot of Chad this Saturday.
