    Was watching the Tech game last night when the camera crew showed the statue of Buddy Holly that's on campus there. I know we have a Joe Greene statue being discussed for Apogee, but perhaps the music department, or others, could propose a statue of, say, Roy Orbison. Nice tribute to a rock and roll legend with North Texas ties and good pub for the University. Thoughts? GO MEAN GREEN!

    Sorry to burst your bubble CK, but we're all in trash bag conferences, including you. No better or worse than any other non-P% conference. You're not a elite program, even though you may feel that way. Good progress and ambitious, but not elite.

    The current SOW is a classic design that doesn't need to be changed, IMHO. Stick with it, market the hell out of it and it will be very recognizable when we start winning consistently and drawing more attention.

    I received an answer from Wren Baker on the flag pole idea. Here's his response... "Thanks for the note. This same topic came up recently in one of our meetings. I think it is an idea with great potential and we will look into it. I appreciate you taking the time to email. Go Mean Green." Wren A giant green flag with the SOW on it would look awesome. Add flood lights at night and it really makes a statement. GO MEAN GREEN!
