***Official Marshall vs. North Texas In-Game Discussion***
Mo Green replied to Coach Andy Mac's topic in Mean Green Football
I think its a good think to hide your identity at a football game! So I'm for the mask. -
Could Spencer Rattler put Out this Dumpster Fire?
Mo Green replied to Mike Jackson's topic in Mean Green Football
NO!!! -
Really can't afford it but, put him upstairs ( the team might forget he's the head coach as fired up as he gets) as OC and see what happens. It looks like he has a pre-game ENEMA to get up for the game ! So he won't show his emotions?

How about a rubber chicken?
-
Consistency we have as much penalty yardage as offense yardage. A new low...
-
Do you think we can win any games with the QB's & offense play calling this year?
-
But, I'm talking only about UNT in Denton not the above...now we are 32-33 under the current coaches (see tonight's score).
-
I was wondering as SL and other's said "I think this place can be a MONSTER". We seem never to be able to get there. This started with Hayden & Nelson etc. recent coaches. So, I wanted to see what those ( you people) that imagine that we deserve a better league ( i.e. we just came to CUSA-better league right?) saw in our main money sport- football- that made us so valuable. Feeling that we need to right our football ship & not go on and on about the football coaches being on a hot seat (that get's old) after losing & losing games! I know Wren and Neal must be beside themselves. I joking said that Let's pay Grant to be a defensive coordinator to them after the Purdue game in IN.

Currently, as in the past, we have been an afterthought in football. Losing (32-32 SL) with each coach that we hire in football (if just GH & MF never left)! So now our HC SL was hired for his offense capabilities, & he has given everything to his co-offensive coordinator's that had over 500 yards and only 12 points. Where are we going with this? Now, there are opportunities to advance to a league that their best in football & overall sports were taken, on paper at lease ($$$), to a better league. Based on why they were taken what does ONE NCAA BB tournament win (even with a bright future in men's BB) make us such a prized commodity when we can't get any continuity in football and have in our history hiring TWO H.S. coaches as HEAD COACH? Is it our sell-outs, just location ( think titanic), college size etc. that make us so attractive? Answer this, so I will understand with what you see!

USA Medals
Mo Green replied to Mo Green's topic in The Eagles Nest (There Should be Pie For Everyone Forum)
WSJ said that 66 medals were won by the USA ladies, 6 were from the mixed contestants (man/woman). So almost 60% of the Olympic medals were won by the ladies. They made a excellent showing in Japan. Congratulations to them all. They kicked butt!- 1 reply

Q- did the USA ladies win more medals than the USA men? Sure seemed that way for the ladies.

Jason Bean the favorite to start at KU
Mo Green replied to meangreen11's topic in Mean Green Football
He was never comfortable in the pocket. When he completed passes, the receivers had to catch the ball and they mostly never advanced the ball since the throw was a challenge to catch. Q- why are we even talking about him? -
High school focused NT recruiting strategy?
Mo Green replied to Jonnyeagle's topic in Mean Green Football
Let's play this game... We recruit high school stud's. They play extensively for two year's then (i.e. like we saw in softball) get recruited to a P5 school as they are doing today. We are then a farm system to the P5's. How do you combat this from happening (since the NCAA is useless to the G5's)? -
The Animals - House Of The Rising Sun (Music Video) [4K HD] - Bing video ... for all the fun we had in the "BIG Easy"!

His mother, Kathy, told me in Indiana that his knees are the limiting factor. He has problems with them and wants to play professional ball in Europe. His mom's background is from there. So, we knew that the tournament was his swansong at UNT. Sadly though! He's very smart hopefully he will come back for his masters to Denton.

I can't believe what I'm seeing here. If your thinking about about smu that way, post on their boards not here. If you are anywhere other than dallas, smu is non-existent. All this should emphasis should be put on our D, for if B isn't IT ( i.e. the defensive genus ) we are looking bad again. SO you can then grip about that till BB starts! Thanks to all you ponies, GMG

Is UT about to start another conference realignment?
Mo Green replied to Jonnyeagle's topic in Mean Green Football
If you remember why NE, CO, Missouri etc. left the conference was that they said that tu wants to be KING. SO, the question should be where, if they left, can they be crowned King? -
-
President Gretchen Bataille {2004-2010) told a donors meeting in her conference room that the face for the new stadium for the student vote was the College of Arts and Sciences Dean Mike M. They reason she said is that if RV got involved the students would vote down the additional funding needed for the stadium! I guess we forget easily

Looks like an Ex-Lax model. Anyway I wonder who cares anyway (i.e. Portland SU game).

Like I stated the offense was fine in the past but the defense was... 2020 North Texas Mean Green Fun Stats – 1st Quarter Scoring: Opponents 111 – North Texas 45 – Time of Possession: Opponents 34:23 – North Texas 25:38 – Points Per Game: Opponents 42.8 – North Texas 34.4 So we score but can the defense keep them out of the end zone? That is the question we can ask about Seth's future1

UNT predicted to only win 2.5 conf games in 2021
Mo Green replied to meangreen11's topic in Mean Green Football
Maybe, they still think we have a D-coordinator from ( of all places) Kansas!!! Our season will depend on the D-side of the ball totally. Basically, that's why we went so heavy on that side of the line this year. Losing 40+ to our oppositions 50+ is telling. I pray the money we are spending on D will show up in the Win column since we will be able to score points with who we have on the field this fall. But, can we stop the other's from scoring? -
SL has been AWOL on the defensive side of the ball. If its not fixed with B than he has no idea about having a D, therefore, we will never win a bowl or W division with him at the helm. He has to recruit and coach too both ways...

I think unlike other holidays that's "Happy...", it's remember and HONOR MEMORIAL DAY. Just saying you're never happy when someone dies.
