Yes, RV saw good things & some that were not like he likes. But, we will have a layout simuliar to that layout but with several changes. We are currently in a "quiet phase" of the development. What should I ask GB this week when I meet with her for you guys?

I loved the box's. Good seating ( 6X2 plus the bar seating behind for 3 0r 4) TV's above the window's. I would like to see ours with a meeting area/security area on the ground floor for groups to meet & to stay out of the weather. They have a horse shoe shaped stadium with a llllllllaaaaaarrrggggeee veranda area that almost looks like lost space. They had food areas, about 100 ft.from the seats, at very back of the space, well away from the field ( not like our deck). This was the only thing I thought looked out of place ( future a second end zone deck?). They had bench seats on the student side and mostly on the alumni side, with some chair back seats on the 50 y.l. Their campus is located in the "hill country" like down here around north of San Antonio, nice. There field house was not nearly as nice as ours. Their nfootball practice field's (2) were tiered down the hill, with a track on the highest tier. They were building a new baseball park for the guys. I did not see any female facilities. I mentioned to a couple of them we are title 9 compliant for the girls & I got a blank look back. So, I don't know about their work on the non-male part of their athletics. Did not see their campus at all. The 1/2 of students left mostly at half time. We need a pass rush real bad that last Saturday, errrr, every Saturday. But, we are using young personnel & they looked better on the run than they had looked in September. Troy had 10 srs in the two deep on the defensive side of the ball.

Yes they started to cover the sidelines the second half & that opened up the middle. I sorry that Danny did not take advantage of that change!

Their stadium would be the con-dome. Red McCombs et al would love to bring football to this city. The tax payers are taking it in the pants with the dome losing money hand over foot......so they need someone to play in the dome. That's why the mayor likes football to come to SA! Or we can put dog shows in there like I want.....sorry no pit bulls. Errrr, maybe bull fights, displaced New Orleanians?

In San Antonio, we are meeting at the Buffalo Wild Wings Bar & Grill in on De Zavala & Interstate 10. The mgr Rudy said the more people we have there the more tv's we will get to watch. He said that since ut is playing they will have it on & change due to popular demand. So, when we fill up the place we will beat the hell out of tu Saturday night too. Bring your friends to the game. I've called Scott Hall, Tommy Harrison & Jeff Muenchow & hope they will be there. So lets fill the place up!!! Beat the hell out of ou............. GMG

No the Miami game is a goner. We paid the money to drop that one & picked up a better game for several reasons............ GMG

It's ashame that we don't have a functioning Ex's arm now. We need that group to be strong to get the $$$$$ to build things in Denton and in other areas of the system. I wish we had the support now that we need a presence at our athletic events and in Austin ( politics) and on campus (scholarship's) but the ex's seem to be a pointless organization at this point.

Had a great time with one of the best guards we had in the 80's at New Orleans, Mr. Deon Hunter. In talks with him he said that he couldn't believe the crowd we had the night before the game celebrating our basketball team. Most everyone, like Hank & George got pictures with him. The big thing for us is that he told me (when I let him borrow my ticket to get close to the court) that he is back. He wants to help anyway he could. For all you that know him, my thoughts are that he could be a mentor with Sturns & straighten him out before his senior year. What do you think?

When we played B.Young in Utah' I'll never forget a D lineman with the name Broutoski (sp) from Houston. They called him Bruno. He was 6'9" all of 350ish lbs. soph that we used on goalline coverage. They were on our 3 yard line & he came in & personally pushed the guard & tackle back two plays in a roll on our left side. He did't play his jr. year. What a load when he was in! GMG

Rick is doing quite well in San Antonio. He is busy with his restraunt in Alamo heights, when he is not broadcasting Alamo Heights football games. He invited Sam & Ginno to meet with Dr.B when she had her presidential gathering down here for about 150 at the Marriott Plaza hotel in downtown San Antonio. I plan to use his mexican restraunt for some NT functions in the future. Ginno & Sam are all at least the height we have them at with Sam a little taller than Ginno. GMG
