We only play one team (Denver) with a winning record this year. What should we expect out of the men's team. What if the team doesn't produce? Who's falt is it if they don't do as predicted. Inquiring minds want to know since what was said earlier on this board on some posts.

What I'd like to hear & see both coodinators able to mentor Coach Dodge. In talking to Gary, he's never meet a more positive coach in coach Dodge in his life. Then, we go for a field goal in the closing minutes of the Ohio game to just tie the thing up while sitting on the .5 yard line? I'm not following the reason for not going for the win if he's so positive. That started our down fall this year. We all hope next season is a real winning season, but its important the coaches & players prepare now for it.now. \

You should of seen the head coach of wku try to get his team to win that game then walking off the floor (we've been there before). The anouncers said that they are 1 & 8 on the road! They shot bricks & fouled ulm & lost just like our game with them. They are now shell shocked. Does anyone have a reason. They like us have good people in the paint- no point guard? You gym rats chime in, you too George! GMG

Anyone that can play in rhe defensive right side backfield. Even Army who can't pass completed passes against our right side on 3rd & long!

Tune should of played more after his performance in the tide game.

Dosen't matter how many stars the kids come with ..........its the W's they leave with that counts!

Since the only teams with marquis wins were South Alabama & WKU ( 2 SEC wins) is our season over unless we win the tournment? Just wanted to see if you see a pattern developing in our basketball program over the last 9 years.I miss the valley- that was bb at its best. Haven't seen that in Denton in a long time. Wonder if RV is covering for his friend in JJ? One more question, has our RPI increased or decreased over the last 9 years (*for you gym rats)? Just wanted to see what you think.

utsa does have city leaders with deep pockets that REALLY SUPPORT college football like Benson did in financing ICU's football program last yeat. They as well pushed for utsa to have a d1 team, so unlike us they will come up with the $$$$ support (i.e. their business's buying blocks of tickets tickets etc.)

I was there? I wish our homecoming was as good as your's. I didn't understand why dad's & mom's escorted your homecoming nominees?

We have a freshman QB & your expecting results like Mr. Maher or Davis had during their senior years at NT. We need some reality checks before some people go to the game.

Thanks to Rick Shaw for having about 35 - 40 together to hear the all the coaches talk on their positions & the battles coming up this fall. They are really young & eager for some piosition battles to play themselves out in August. They said that several of the new players will have a chance to play significant time this fall. Franklin will probably look at defensive line before offense. Several have nicknames- some I will not mention. But .....#47 because in HS he was named AK 47, so Coach Dodge gave him that #. The # 1 will be the first player from that program ever to get a division 1A 'ship, so Coach Dodge said he did that to honor his school & town. Several HS coaches were in attendance at the event supporting Dodge & NT. Gary said that his defense will stay 4/3 straight but with some changes on schemes.He looked up & smiled at Todd ;-} I did tell them for all of us that we knew that the coaches spent lots of time away from home, but we really appriciated all they are doing to make NT football respectable. Todd said again that we will have a stadium in '10. My point is that I only wish the exs' or alumni assn was at a point to help this out. Later............. GMG
