Lawson has had a hand that needed surgery since October, next year it will be fun with him healthy.

He was carried off the court last Saturday night .

The " snake Pit" had bleachers under the basket. Friends told me to go early to the game once to get a seat there. They would catch our players & use their feet/knees to catch the visitors! Real fun- made a believer out of me!

Rv & benford nothing more needs to be said!

The MG fans on the lower section would use our feet on the wooden bleachers when we were yelling sometimes. We called out "brick" to their guards when they were at the line. They didn't have a good game at the line thank God for that. GMG

Bobby Iverson from Oklahoma should be on the team. He was special if I remember right he stopped playing ball to be a Pasteur up in OK. He was here around '70?

UTSA was 3 & 5 in conference. The sports on ABC down here said they didn't deserve a bowl invite. That is the reason for them watching Christmas cartoons instead of practicing.

The L&R manager just called & the school called & said that we would have 60 there!! I'm glad they are supporting us promote this game broadcast💚

I can remember Ramon F calling out a fan in front of the everyone- the dysfunction between Dickie-boy and the AD- the downplaying of our school by the football coaches. Bobby Ray flaunting his relationship with the hc and getting in rv's face. Only at UNT do we need to make this dysfunction glorified in our athletic dept. By the way, do you know the only coach that had the gumption to apologize to rv after the firing of Dickie-boy for not recruiting better?

Alamo bowl is already spoken for. any bowl that we have with a P5 team would be great for recruiting!

The impressive thing from the UTSA game is that Coach Mitchell only got the team back to the court (after 1/2 time)with 3 minutes left in the half time period. Boy, a completely different team came out the 2nd half, & made the "beaks" (thats what the stadium signs proclaimed) completely unable to do their game plan, or play with rythum. GMG exciting team to watch.

What I wonder about (w/o reading all the above) is if you look at what we are paying for all our FB coaches compared to say UTSA, F_U's how did we compare in recruiting and the ROI for the Ex's? This can go for any sport we have- God love John!! I need this info from you math guys out there for a meeting next week, please. This is why I don't care to post as much any more, because of the some posters holding rv so high-and-mighty getting in your face and defending him in private posts to me while we threw away money left & right for no return at all ( i.e. empty seats). At the time, I was a guy who gave $$$$. I repeat WAS! We still have dead wood in the athletic dept.
