  1. again all other sports do not force a transfer to sit a year, so in this case allows player to play immediately for all, not just the p5's or Grad Transfers. Will this be good for UNT? Who knows, like others said good and bad. As for the RS rules and current transfer rules, NCAA made all of that FUBAR anyways, this would at least put all FBS teams on a level playing field, by not having to request waivers and garbage.
  2. honestly not sure what the big deal is, other than it would put football on level with other sports that do not force transfers to sit one year, unless not released or intra-conference.
  3. good start but La Tech and UTEP are lower end of Conference, this weekends trip to Marshall to play them and FIU will tell alot. Should be even with both, tad favorite over Marshall. Rice, Old Dominion are class of the Conference right now, by a wide margin
  4. yellow journalism at its worst, just to arouse the UNT Woke culture. Agree with comment have either player had issues since coming to UNT. How about reporter check on the regular student body and run same story. Just a smear piece in general.
  5. add in Transfer Geu and McCasland had a very successful recruiting season filling out the roster, hope he can keep hitting.
  6. so do we now have 2 spots open?
  7. ouch that hurts, could have lived with Bama, but Mizzou with a brand new coach. Hurts a little, but good luck to him.
  8. Coach can not find a good WIFI spot in East Lansing to update .... J/K 😉
  9. that's extremely sad, Prayers for Jordan and his family.
  10. I thought P5 had free transfer already; the way NCAA handed out waivers to any P5 transfer out of conference transfer. This past season was a joke on how many waivers they allowed
  11. maybe finally build the center court at the Tennis Center and resurface courts
  12. Team played well in Non-Conference against what looks like a tough schedule seeing how many of the teams are doing, only the EMU loss really sticks out. Hope the team can lock defense and continue the run.
  13. Good for him, hopefully the Utah St coach unleashes him to call his style of plays.
  14. makes me wonder if Briles was the pick and the AD got tons of flack from other school admins, now Petrino is no saint, but as long they keep the blonde GA's and motorcycles away from him, he should be fine.
  15. watch him reunite with Baby Briles up at Arkansas
  16. wow good for him, sounds like his hard work has paid off.
  17. Pittman appears to be solid hire and he hired 2 solid coordinators, they will be much improved
  18. there is the problem Leach has never had a good defense. Sure light it up and I am sure the fans will love putting up 50+ pts a game yet lose and go 8/4 tops each year. Auburn and Clemson both have much better defenses as does Alabama as always.
  19. in the West Division. I like Leach but his gameplan of all offense and no defense will not get far in SEC. They might beat Mizzou and that is it. UA is on the rise, Ole Miss is coming back, A&M is there
  20. then it fits the vibe of the campus vibe as of late
  21. Blake Anderson would be fantastic down in Waco, but I would not mind seeing SL get the job either and move on.
  22. Try to bring Johns or Cumbie, both would be solid picks at this point
  23. well at least he would be prepared for when SL puts him in the corner in order to call plays again 😉
  24. wow that is good news at least for the O-Line.
  25. thanks guess I should at least get his last name right 😞
