LSU to Require Vaccination Proof or Negative Test
untbowler replied to BillySee58's topic in Mean Green Football
you maybe right, guess time will tell. Just my opinion like we all have one. I do agree with ColonyEagle, enforcement will be tough. Expect wait times to get in to be horrible. -
LSU to Require Vaccination Proof or Negative Test
untbowler replied to BillySee58's topic in Mean Green Football
ok so guess attendance will go down, but what will the schools/businesses do if there is a major outbreak following a game? Vax and UnVaxed can both still carry virus, but only requiring one group to show negative tests. It is what it is and fans have freedom to not go to games. -
Is UNT passing up FLA schools in recruiting?
untbowler replied to greenminer's topic in UNT Football Recruiting
we are only paper champions until SL can show he can coach the great talent he has recruited. -
I know locally here at UCA (FCS), the local Chamber is already handing out $$$ advertisements to about 20 athletes in various sports

if not for COVID, she would not have this extra year to play, she did everything at UNT and got her degree, we could not ask for more.

reading the comments are disgusting, just excuse after excuse for these idiot all because they can coach and play football. In the end the NCAA will do nothing, see Baylor, see UNC, see Louisville, see Penn State

Examining The Legacy Of Rick Villarreal
untbowler replied to greengal's topic in Mean Green Football
To be honest the bar was extremely low. Helwig was a disaster, so RV came in and did some good things, but then reached his ceiling and everything stagnated. The decision to not let Dodge retain college coaches hurt and then the hiring of Stephens, Benford, and McCarney sealed his fate -
not even close, did she even play at OU? No statistics but at least she will help the APR.

wow year 6 of our highest paid coaching staff and we are below TX State & UTSA. Yup that is quality money spent.

She graduated with a Bachelor's from UNT, and is transferring to OU to play one more year (due to COVID) and pursue her Master's. Why so much whining, it is not a knock on UNT. If not for COVID and the idiots at the NCAA giving everyone a 5th/6th year, this would be a non-issue. Why do so many have to piss on her parade because she is choosing to go elsewhere to pursue her Master's after getting a UNT DEGREE!!!

good First Act should be to throw Judy out on her ass and get the Conference moving in the right direction

2021 North Texas Football Way Too Early Schedule Predictions

if Wins are not at least 7, how can anyone justify another year for SL? Please don't throw out the new DC, the hire had to happen due to SL incompetent hires previously, can not keep extending out hoping the next season will be better when you have one of the highest paid coaching staffs in the conference. -

ADHD meds good or bad?
untbowler replied to Cr1028's topic in The Eagles Nest (There Should be Pie For Everyone Forum)
Unfortunately I have 2 kids on ADHD, my oldest is off now that he is 19, but he needed it due to birth mom's drug and alcohol use as well as poor nutrition. My youngest son started at 2nd grade and it has helped, but I also see the zoning out issue. IMO I would say try everything nutritional first, exercise, being outside not sitting in front of a TV or Screen, as I believe ADD is over-prescribed. But if you choose the meds, make sure to watch over your kid for behavioral changes. -
DRC: UNT star pitcher Hope Trautwein enters transfer portal
untbowler replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Athletics
I would be more upset if she did not already have her Degree. Wish her well on her next endeavor, wish she would have stayed for one more year, but she got her degree and now time for a master's. -
I agree with several of the coaches, LSU should never host again, the biggest point appears to be the Club/Maintenance Crew, did nothing to even try and get the course ready, that is poor Regional Coordinator control, that person should have been going overboard to make sure course was playable, but apparently did nothing. Every regional has an NCAA Representative that should be overseeing that everything is done to make course/courts/fields, etc... ready for play or find an alternative. Cancellation with no PLAY never should have happened.

A 3* would not even sniff the line-up at Baylor much less even be considered for a walk-on position.
