Go the McCasland Route, find an established coach who has won at multiple levels, we do not need another P5 retread looking for retirement $$$ nor do we need another spoiled P5 Assistant who does know how to adjust to losing a few games and has less amenities than their previous school.

DRC: UNT women add three in weekend recruiting run
untbowler replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Basketball
There were some UNT WBB coaches in Conway, AR yesterday checking out their practice (they have a couple of Class of 23' that are being recruited by many). -
247: UNT Falls Flat Against UAB (some eye opening quotes)

sorry but SL talking about Preparation and being ready is laughable, when his teams have looked unprepared in most games since Year 3. Preparation starts at the top with the coaches. -
nope, the team is worth more than a coach who was already sending out resumes before the contract was dry.

Selfless, Tough and Disciplined!!!

Carthel and Keeler should be on the short list. WE do not need another P5 OC/DC hot shot spoiled by the amenities. -

go for 2pt then let the clock run out, way to coach SL, way to coach. -
this is the same AD who could not bother to fire Benford, not renewing contract is not a firing, it is letting the coach off the easy way. So why would he do it now with SL?

god what a sh*t show. Thanks SL for taking the money and running with it after year 2 -
more like the lack of true support from the School Administration over the decades created an alumni base devoid of sports fans.
-
good point, but after being burnt a few times, maybe PB could have shifted to a zone coverage? Have no idea, was frustrating watching and seeing receivers wide open in the middle all night long
-
the DLine played well and had pressure on Mordecai much of the game, but the center of the field coverage was horrible by the DBs and LB's way to many running uncovered burned them in the 2nd half.
-
if you're not being sarcastic that is quite a truth bomb. If WB dos not see that SL is not a good head coach worth $2 million a year, then not sure I am high on WB.
-
agree the OL seemed ok, except for some errant snaps, Ruder had time, he just does not have the velocity or at least chose not to use it tonight, every thing floated and SMU figured it out.
-
SL can celebrate he got his 500yds of offense, he is a f'n offensive genius.

why are we angry SL is going to have a Top 10 Offense juggernaut when it comes to yardage, 470 yds and counting this game, just ignore the 12 pts
-
Year 6 nothing will change, SL has his binder and will not change
-
Year 6 and SL Team is still as soft as a roll of Charmin
-
yup blame all this on the offense, ignore the wide open SMU receivers dropping passes, the continued poor tackling, but hey we are going to be the kings of the worst conference in America. Makes me excited to be a fan.
-
very Dodgesque lots of yards with minimal point production, especially in clutch time
-
wide open again, where are the defenders!?!??!
-
yippee big yd numbers with no point production. 300yds means nothing without pts.
-
once again middle of the field wide open and Mordecai runs 5 yds up and then out outside for the first down
-
called it, SMU will hit a big play, wide open WR again.
-
Can Ruder throw a damn pass with any velocity, such garbage
