  1. SL will be back in 2023 unless he goes 1-11 or worse. He has to many connections and friends near the AD to be fired, unless he pulls a Portland St debacle level crash.
  2. CUSA and their inept leadership hoping and praying some members will stay. ODU, Marshall, and USM should give them the middle finger. This lays at the feet of the sinking SS Judy Sucks
  3. why not we are doing that with Hedlund, it is UNT the admin just accepts average and is fine with it.
  4. Here in Central AR most districts have gone to virtual for the next week or 2 trying to get staff and students healthy and out of quarantine for proper staffing levels. Not likely they will go full time virtual again as they did in 2020. Let the spike crest and then watch the number plummet, or at least hope for it.
  5. I think the Hillbillies in Bowling Green can handle snow better than all the California transplants in Nashville.
  6. that is a great honor for Dion and UNTLifer is correct why would the AD Staff not get this promoted front page?
  7. to the victor goes the spoils, Brown kicked SL's @$$ got the WV job and now gets the OC behind SL's early success. Shots fired.
  8. her teams have gotten worse as season goes on, tired of excuse making or Jalie, love we have an alum here, but look at team last year, was a on a roll, she got a nice extension (warranted or not) then floundered down the stretch and lost 1st round of Conference. We all should expect better from all sports.
  9. Antonio Brown has blown his chances, baggage or not he is a grown ass man, time to act like it finally.
  10. sorry but this is way beyond NIL, this is recruit tampering and even NCAA should see this as serious violation and more than likely because it is EMU they will make an example out of them
  11. interesting the 2 biggest revenue sports are not there. Not everything is about W/L's, at least they are graduating players, but hoping both teams barely missed averaging a "B"
  12. I initially was not excited about the hire, but it is looking better as we see her whole profile, she seems to be one of the best players to have come out Texas HS ranks, now will that translate in W's?? Who knows because her McNeese W/L was not impressive. If she can coach up players this just might work out and appears the locker room needed a change. Will take a wait and see approach. Will this be a Benford/Stephens type hire or McCasland, lets hope for a Coach Mc hire.
  13. just watch the COVID Protocols will miraculously change for CFB Playoff games. Many realizing they are overtesting the athletes and staff and getting positives and many false positives with asymptomatic.
  14. not sure how he could even be allowed to Transfer to another FBS school, but COVID muddied the waters with everything. Assume compliance offices would have to triple check he was making academic progress as well. If I was a coach would be a hard pass. 4 schools in 3 yrs tells me it is not the school but the player
  15. good info and it sounds like Palileo had worn out his welcome and having a sub-par season made an easy decision. If Robinson is coming back then that is a major break for the new coach. As for the $42K average per year, that does sound extremely low for a HC for any sport, much less VB which is higher on the totem pole of the minor sports.
  16. haha you should see coaching salaries for tennis coach at many schools, many are less than <40K
  17. if true we do not have the money, then WB is failing at one of his major jobs of bringing in donations. With the enormous increase in resources in the past 5-10 yrs, money should be flowing, or least it is for salaries. Increased pay should correlate with increased fundraising and wins in all sports, especially Football with the highest paid coach.
  18. well with how few underclassmen get any playing time unless hoard of injuries, we have no idea how good some of the players are right now. They could transfer and tear it up because player evaluation seems suspect at best with this coaching staff.
  19. all these cancellations are due to over testing of players and staff who are asymptomatic. Watch for some changes to be made, NFL already starting, expect it quicker if the CFB Playoff gets hit.
  20. Bowl Season 2021 gifting the MAC their only Bowl Win for the season
  21. They did outside of the constant Murphy twin on the ground with an injury or shoulder bumping a ref because your brother jumped offside. At least PB gave him an earful. Personally he should have been thrown out for the ref bump, but instead he sits a few plays and goes back in.
  22. Only a 13pt loss due to Miami using mercy when at 5 yd line at 1st and goal
  23. SL is going to give Coach Martin his first non-conference FBS win. $2 million a year for Years 6 &7 of this garbage.
  24. I personally feel Lama needs to produce this year or next year or change needs to be made. CUSA teams have started passing UNT and AAC is even tougher. Look at Old Dominion. They have 2 ranked singles players and a Top 5 ranked Doubles team. Team needs to produce. As for the international players, that is how a mid-major team wins, most Public non-p5 schools are not going to get the 4*/5* American Players needed to compete. That is why you need International Players, of course international players can be hit or miss, but most coaches will get a foot in the door and create a pipeline for talent.
