Obviously the Youth Football Directors do not require Safeplay Certification in order to work with youths much less background checks. I have to do Safeplay Courses every 12 months and a background checks for officiating. Obviously the youth league just wants the money over safety of the kids.

I understand the appeal of the teams looking at the WAC, but once Sam Houston jumped ship, IMO a mistake going FBS, they were left in a no man's land and UIW and Lamar had smart enough leaders to see the move was not being fiscally responsible

UTA needs to put their ego aside and come back to the Southland along with ACU, Tarleton, and SFA. Add in UCA, potentially coming back and you have a nice regional FCS conference

I see SFA and Tarleton St going to the Southland and would not be surprised if UCA also comes back. Travel costs are to much for the WAC and ASUN currently with little benefit. Sam Houston and Jacksonville St screwed their respective conferences to join Judy and her declining conference

the previous coaches did not have a Bowl Game Created specifically for the team, they earned the bowls not backing in due to grades and a losing record. Bowl games are handed out like candy now days, so being average to even below average gets you into a bowl.
