if we are intent on throwing money at a failed P5 then yes would rather have a Fuente or Brown who know how to win at a place with less resources, this what UNT will need if SL is ever let go, but not counting on it. Instead the AD will go throwing even more $$$ at a former P5 HC or Coordinate who only knows how to win at a place with tons of $$$.

General question with how bad the experience was Saturday for many, it appears AD and University are not interested, so why should fans be interested? If the university can barely even promote a big rivalry game and it being the first game of the season, why should fans get interested? UNT at many levels is good at shooting itself in the foot, ask for help/survey and then still do nothing. University should take some pride and be welcoming to fans and alumni using their $$$ and time to support the university. So again why should fans be interested if the university does not show it.

SL has had red zone issues for years, SMU game just spotlighted it more, but this not a new issue. Great stats between the 20's but RZ not so much

Do not be surprised if SL is leading the team when UNT joins AAC, should not happen but just start preparing, have seen nothing that would indicate SL will be gone and if the home opener debacle does not move the needle nothing will. Easy schedule this year so if SL reaches 5 wins, he will be back. The backbone is not there to make the hard decisions.

because that is how UNT rolls, can not even be mad at WB anymore, it starts at that top of the School with the BOR, President, and Chancellor, they want to brag about being cheapest, well this what you get. We overpay for the chiefs and have little left for the actual real workers. It is a culture issue that is perpetuated from the very top down.

ok and your point, BOR just gave WB a fat raise and sounds like the game day experience yesterday was horrible and probably ran off many casual fans irrespective of the ass kicking. All of the Apogee issues should fall on WB, as for RV yes they kept him to long, but we are now paying WB well above G5 market rate, with the best success coming from BB and SB, while rest of sports ok with being average.

Then WB needs to get off his over paid ass and start finding more donors, quit making excuses, WB's job is fundraising, the AD is getting paid more money than ever before, results should be shown on attendance, Donors, etc... Not just wins on the fields of play
