  1. this is not good, Prayers for Leach and his family. I just lost an Aunt with similar issue, massive heart attack. She fought for a few days but then passed.
  2. no it should not but his resume does not scream HC for a rebuild. Really need a previous HC which I guess would just be Keeler or Fuente not fond of either, but it is what it is.
  3. if Perry is pushed on us by a donor, much like SL was then no thanks, but if hired he better not have a salary north of 1.2 a year unless ladened with incentive bonuses
  4. maybe he is committed to the 10 yr contract he signed and actually wants to be at UTSA. Wish we could a coach willing to commit to UNT
  5. many of these schools will have to do serious expansion, I know UCA only has a 10k Stadium, if NCAA still requires 15k, they will have to spend millions they do not have currently along with facilities that are not up to quality in some of the minor sports.
  6. Maggard from ULL would not be a bad choice, if it is not Mosley. The man has ULL successful at multiple levels and fund raises like crazy and knows the G5 environment
  7. They hired Chadwell from CC, which IMO is a fantastic hire and with being in a conference now, Liberty will be a tough out for most, because they have the money to throw at Athletics. They will dominate CUSA in most sports.
  8. remember WB extended her at same time he extended Mac, Mac at least has some skins, Jalie only has excuses for not being competitive. Constant roster turnover and always has injuries, at some point blame the coaching and it is obvious this year
  9. The ASUN is a revolving door, good grief.
  10. He had flirted with L'ville prior and he played there if I remember correctly, so it is a homecoming for him
  11. would be comical when Deion starts his son and he is a bust outside the FCS level
  12. Pittman and the UA fans are very happy to be rid of Odom
  13. wonder how SL feels now, seeing the #120 defense cost him his job in many ways by not slowing down the higher level teams
  14. oops my bad. Sorry 😞
  15. No thanks, like Herm but he was a colossal failure at ASU and has some NCAA baggage from his time
  16. need to make sure with new coach we keep both of these guys and hide the portal key
  17. we have been all the places already that SL took us, give me a break. The Arkansas team he beat was horrible by their own standards. DD has wins over Baylor. New heights of getting a$$ kickings in every post season game, sure but give me a break with the SL a$$ kicking, he got paid lots of money and did not deliver to expectations.
  18. I hope you're a better planner than football fan, just remember the public is tougher on planners than football coaches.
  19. Some outliers that could be interesting: Current Samford U Coach and the NDSU Coach proven winners at the FCS level.
  20. not really a good hire for Tulsa, which is good for us.
  21. I am of the opinion, if he has his degree, then best of luck to him if he wants to try elsewhere, of course love for him to stay, but he will already have a degree that says UNT, can not ask for much more.
  22. Who?? Did he ever step on the field or play any meaning plays
  23. classy of SL to come back and say bye to the players, no doubt he loved them. Classy of WB/NS/JM to allow SL to do all of this. Agree with others, the admin probably did not mean for the news to break last night.
  24. Got paid $$$, but never excited or got the fans behind him, lack of energy but a family atmosphere
