Tulsa is only 1.5 hours NE of OKC and OKC is only 2.5 to 3 from Denton so 4.5 would be accurate, but the $79 roundtrip is pretty sweet deal.

JT was basically held in check on 8 of the 10 rushes, he had one carry for 8-10 yds then the big 30 yd run, otherwise he was stopped at the line of scrimmage or for 2-3 yards. Who cares though again b/c we escaped our first landmine game.

man we are quick to kick PC to the curb after JT last year, why don't we just trust DD to get the job done. JT also has a hamstring issue that appears as if it will not go away. He had it all last year that caused him to miss gametime. Just let DD run the ship and everything will work out.

Happy for the win, but hopefully some the stuff was first game jitters. Both OL and DL were getting beat most of night and got torn up on the run. Meager played nice and conservative but he underthrew ever deep ball, even the Quinn catch was underthrown by 5 yards and could have been an interception. Good win nonetheless but we have work to do if we want to win an OOC game.

I think the Volleyball team is extremely young and green.

I do not think FAU will be a problem this year, their Defense is very good, but their offense is anemic and turnover prone. They have no depth either which killed them last night and also against Kansas, if we just keep running JT and PC at them they will tire quickly. Plus we have the revenge factor.

Ok instead of GRADES!!! move to ACADEMICS!!! more or less one in the same, they either did not maintain a 1.8 GPA or they did not pass 12 hrs each long semester.

He did play last year in B-Ball

I am thinking maybe they want him for F-Ball this year since he did not pay at Tulsa, but B-Ball he might need to sit a year due to transfer regulations. Anybody else have any insight??

to late now but would have been cool to have a bus drive (like NO Bowl) sponsored by Student Activities, that could leave late Friday Night and arrive in TN Saturday afternoon (probably 14-15 hour drive by bus). Early enough to tailgate and then watch game, stay the night and leave early Sunday morning be back in Denton Sunday Night, cost maybe $60-80 a person, including tickets and hotel room.

only the Football team is staying at LTU, the other teams and students are spread throughout the South and SW.

LT is on a downward slide and the longer they are in the WAC they worse off they wll, plus there may be a round of cuts in their programs coming in the near future. We just need to win and we will be far ahead of the Chihuahuas.

I think they will be attending classes at LTU also, if I interpret the article correctly.
