Unfortunately sounds like not to much will happen now and UNT will just move on with another black eye.

ULL actually has 2 losses along with ASU, Troy, MTSU, and Troy. ULM is in the drivers seat with only 1 loss, should be 2 if we show up to play. We should win all 3 games and should have been able to finish the season on a 4 game winning streak.

Are we for sure out of the race?? yes we will be in negative territory but if we win out that will leave 4-5 teasm with 2 losses we could be co-champs. Look at scores from last night ULM and Arky state laid a couple of eggs. Emabarssing that we could finish 4-7 and be co-champs.

Don't foget we could have moved atop of the standings also as ULM laid an egg against FIU and the MUTS demolished Arky State. Now I am hoping we can somehow win out and help Troy make it to the bowl game, at least they might be respectable.

you can also add in zero pub for the game around campus and in the dorms where the freshmen are. Outside of individual halls doing small promoting there was nothing at all from the Athletics Department.

I am sure outsiders see this board and comments and go, so many UNT fans and so few expectations.

I think most of our fans would prefer to not have a prostitute coaching our team only to hike their skirt upto the next available suitor. If Fran goes it is just karma on his part for the way he screwed over Bama.

YAWNNN!!! Maybe a little gratitude to the fans for showing up would help your cause, considering we have lost by an average of 45 points this year to a good regional schedule for us.

actually we just beat WKU (3-1 or 4-1) and lost to MTSU (#2 Seeds) 3-0.

Let's hope the team comes out like a cornered dog and comes out to demolish the opposition. Can we plan on DD opening up alittle like the LSU game or will we see another turtle in a shell game? Lets hope for the first one. GO MEAN GREEN!!!

Let's see Texas can't do anything about the Big 12, but they have dismantled every team they play, much like USC (ND exception). UT played ULL, Alabama just played UT St., VTech played Ohio and Duke so that all equals out in the end. Alabama also gets to play Ole Miss, South Carolina, MTSU, Arkansas hardly a tough stretch, TN is down this year. Florida is a good win. Let's see how they finish off with LSU and Auburn, then title game. Va. Tech still has Miami and FSU. UT beat OSU in a tough environment in Primetime, destroyed a Top 25 Colorado and now OU (Top 25 also). Baylor, Kansas, A&M are no different than the conference fluffs that AL has played. Let's just let it all play out and show what a crock of s**t the BS BCS truly is. Which leads to the following. WE NEED A PLAYOFF!!!!

I don't buy the argument that SMU, Tulsa, etc... scheduled b/c they knew we would be down????? Huh, does that mean they consider DD a piss poor recruiter or did they have a pyschic tell them that Byerly would not make his grades along with Raymond and Isaac Thomas would have heat issues. Come on that is pretty lame excuse for anyone. We had been begging and groveling to get better match-ups and when we finally do we complain b/c we are having a down year, would we be saying this if Byerly and others got their s**t together and were on the field this year?? Let's hope DD gets the team ready for the final four games on our road to the Championships and then get ready for 2006 and win some meaningful games for once.

I undertstand your point, but if UNT was offsides or a pass interference was called, so be it, but how can a penalty that occurred after a clean INT cause it to be null an void, it is not like the block in the back helped him get the INT. Oh well just one of the screwy quirks in the rule books i guess.

seems like this is a bad loss for the girls, not upto date on NCAA selections, but I would hope they may have been on the bubble for an at large if they lost in the conference tourney, this may have burst their bubble hopes.

I think in the chat someone mentioned that if we did not decline the Facemask penalty then the INT would have been voided. Makes no sense b/c both penalties occurred after the INT happened so they should have been offset or even UNT should have gained another 5-10 yards. Maybe someone with a better interpretation could lend some help. Also the announcers mentioned that Jamario looked to crossed the goalline on 4th and goal, after that mistake it seems the team lost their steam unfortunately.

I am sorry there may have been some improvement in this game, of course that begs the question why didn't we try some of this stuff earlier in the season?? Is DD softening some realizing that his ground and pound style will not cut it right now? We did lose 56-3 and in OOC games we were outscored 50-6, that is obviously nothing to be proud of right now, unless we are excepting the norm of losing every OOC game and trying to squeak thru the Belt. If we continue to see the play in the upcoming games then maybe some of us "Haters", no different than others being called "Apologists", might be able to come around, but right now it will take 4 impressive showings to close the season before any sense of happiness will be found.

I am not for firing DD, but if we do manage to make it to the Bowl Game and a 5th Title, there sure as hell but not be another contract extension, because that will just add to the apathy and we do not give a s**t attitude regarding OOC games and making progress with the football team.

I would imagine the 2 TE's also are for an extra blocker or 2 when the defense throws 9 in the box.
