I think Athletics did a great job promoting, also it was RHA Night which helped to finally bring out a ton of campus residents, hopefully this can carry over into Saturday.

I am not sure how anyone can consider Meager the favorite, unless you see that he started every game last year, personally Phillips should have started the last 2, but I am not the coach. I think wilson will probably end up starting but who knows this spring should be interesting. To answer the question, I do not have a ton of faith in Meager right now, maybe if he learns to be a fearless field general and also is able to get his arm strength back, he seemed to lack it all last year. Just my .02.

I think it is hard to say it is getting better when we go from 4 Bowls to a 2-9 season, obviously you know more on the recruits than 90% of us on the board but the pill is pretty bitter right now. Hope your correct on the assessment.

Checking mail tonight I saw posters taped to the ground in front of Maple and in the entry way to the Mall area for the game on Thursday. If I did not have class in Richardson I would look to attend the game, unfortunately PhD profs are not very forgiving. I believe Troy went to the NCAA's last year after winning the Atlantic Sun Conference, so 3K should not be to hard to do for them as long as they keep winning. Lets hope we can climb that high eventually.

I got to catch a little bit of the match. Norm duke is amazing. I am hoping to catch Del Ballard tomorrow on the show, he has actually helped out the UNt team a little bit this year. I was at the bowling alley all day today running a tournament and go back again in the morning. As for shirts I don't have any more, but the ones with the team are generic polos with UNT in script spelled out. We had thought about getting some of the wild shirts but no dice right now. If I run into any I'll look them up for you.

Troy was in the Atlantic Sun last year and did win their conference to move onto the big dance. Troy just joined the Sun Belt for Basketball this year, FAU if you notice is still in the Atlantic Sun for B-Ball and should be joining the Belt along with ULM next year I believe as full-fledged members.

I think looking at how many players we have from DFW area should be elaboration enough = RF refuses or can not recruit his own backyard

I agree with you but RV has not been allowed to carry the Athletic Department on his back due to the constant meddling of BoR members and the overall University not liking Athletics, so raising funds for athletics might be alittle bit tougher if the University sets many alumni off-limits of sorts for Athletic Donations.
