Yeah the stipend comes in pace of their housing if they live off-campus, otherwise I do not believe they get another stipend. Living on campus they get room and board, off it is the stipend for rent.

I do not think players can work during the school year no matter how small the job is or the pay, they can work in the summer obviously.

there is also a small section in the DMN about it and how the A&M Coaches are already trying to cover their tracks. Very funny and sad at the same time.

I just do not get this team!!! or any team for that matter, every big game the teams just plain choke, look at tonight both men and women bombed out. The football all you have to do is look at the OOC scores. Tennis has never beaten a Top 75 team in the last 5-6 years. Soccer beats SMU in regular season, but with a 2nd Rd NCAA opportunity they blow it. I love the mean green but this is getting old after awhile.

Welost to Troy to end the regular season in 2001, was typical DD OOC loss went in N.O. with 5-6 record. I think we beat them at home 21-0 in 2002.

They tried some shotgun this year with Meager and Phillips, of course the line did not hold up well at all, so to use the OL will need to dig in and make their blocks.

Well that is true but every 2 years they are always <10 from moving up, which makes for interesting conversation.

hmm they should have put Dallas Jesuit with the DISD schools make it 7 teams, pathetic that 2/3 of the teams in some districts will be playoff bound as for the 11 Team FTW district a couple of them could move 1 to District 6 with Azle and form an 8 Team and 10 Team district and of course the shocker!!! HP stays in 4A once again

unfortunately most of those passes were needed since we always fell behind by 2 TD's or so in almost every game and when the running game is not 100% effective your forced to throw. Wish we were throwing more due to the system and not b/c we had to play catch-up every game.

I am not familar with the Football recruiting process, but I thought a school can only sign 25 players a year?? If so how in the world did Tx Tech sign 34, OU,OSU, Baylor all signed 28. Guessing a bunch of GreyShirts??

Only if his bosses open their eyes and actually see what he has done the past 2 years: No new recruits that are playing and verbal confrontation with an alumni in the stands, and OC for a pretty inept offense. Geez bet that gets him a raise!

distrurbed by the lack of recruits by one particular recruiter, very similar to last year. Looks like a good class on paper, lets hope everyone signs, stays healthy and comes ready to work in August.
