It would be nice to have bthe talent, but I think we have had more than our share atttiude, just look at all of the unsportsmanlike penalties over the last 2 years.

As for the Sun Belt how about we help the conference out and win a few OOC games, which would be a novel concept, instead of the typical OOC games only get us ready for Conference mentality. As for UNT, how about we actually win in sports other than Soccer, then maybe we would have a shot at getting out of the Belt until then how about we actually win our own conference.

If it was UNT or any other non-BCS school yes, but since OU kicked these guys off and probably cost themselves a BCS bowl bid, then the NCAA-***** will probably go light on them if there even is a penalty.

why would we not play UTA, if we have half-way competent coaches we should beat them everytime, hence probably why we have not played them in B-Ball.

Who cares he is nothing but trouble judging by his 2 years at UT, some 1-AA school will love to take a chance on him.

Lama left Illinois b/c he wanted to head South, having friends in coaching profession, the jobs are somewhat scarece in this region for the most part, this summer saw UTA (promoted Asst), SHSU (hired Mo. St Coach), NW State (temp hire currently), and UNT were open. Sounds like UNT at least finally opened up the wallet somewhat and the new tennis center is awesome for recruiting and luring in new candidates that previously would not have even sniffed at UNT. UNT now has one of the better facilties in the region if not state behind TCU, UT, and A&M. SMU has grandstand but limited viewing.

Hopefully we hear about any new recruits pretty soon, I know of one apparently signed before Dawna left but no others and it is late in the game. As for the foreign players with the exception of BB and JB, UNT has never really recruited foreign players from the get go, most have been tranfers (SK, CA, IS).

I did notice when I went to get my copy I grabbed the last one on the main shelf but they had a couple more on the end caps. Nice of them to give you a rain check.

I love the assumption that none of our younger guys will step-up and contribute better than some of the seniors who left. also the QB's should better than last year. Think we will be closer to .500, maybe more with certain coaching changes.
