Thompson or Tuen should get a fair chance as Riley has shown he is turnover prone against average defenses and is pretty fragile at the College level as can be seen from the numerous injuries the past 2 seasons.

I am not so sure the loss of Gilmore is a big loss and since the coaches kept screwing him on position, Nwigwe was the defensive leader, but he also made many bone-head plays and penalties that hurt the team in tight situations.

If nothing changes and TD unfortunately falls on his face again with bad coaching decisions and bland playcalling, then RV should be shown the door alongside TD next November.

I would be fine bringing in an SFA, SHSU, TX State, or other local FCS school, maybe UCA.

He got mmost of his stats as well while skipping out on the two toughest games and being knocked out 1/2 way against Ohio. Stats looked real good against Ball St and WKU, but how would he have faired against Bama and Troy? Probably worse than what he looked like against ULM and MTSU

Why would a new coach do poorly here if the players are so great, especially if you get a coach that runs a variation of the spread, knows how to run full contact practices, and can outcoach a paperbag in the 4th Q. We will be in great shape.

Add in they have already lost to Morgan St (MEAC) and East Tennessee St and one could say the Hogs are mere Piglets this year, besides they also have the little frat rape to deal with.

disagree many of us wanted Harbaugh, Fisher, Gil, or Carthel, but were excited to see Dodge due to his apparent success at SLC. So 99% agreed with hire due to publicity, maybe 50% max wanted TD from the start.

So how do explain a coach who has supposedly mastered this offense and a QB who has grown up in the offense and still makes the same mistakes? Lofting 20 yd wounded ducks is just plain bad and the consistently bad playcalling is not worthy of another year. Stop the DD bashing his gone and has been for 3 years, this is TD's mess and he is the one who has kept this team young through his decisions and no one else's.
