unfortunately the team laid an egg once again when facing a Top 50 team. They lost 7-0 to FL, 7-0 to GTech, 7-0 to Tulsa, 5-2 to FIU, and now 6-1 to Rice today at home.

TCU is a perennial top 30 team that is down right now, although they have also played a rough schedule. They also have severa 4-3 losses and a 4-3 win over UT. UNT does not have that luxury yet and the 7-0 whipping by Tulsa few weeks back does not help.

Ranked #74 The team remains ranked after beating Denver and crushing Louisville. Big matches with a dangerous ULL team on Friday and then a big ranking match-up with Rice (#42) on Sunday.

While begging for another QB, we already have a HS recruit coming in this fall and get get plenty of reps in practice, also Baine will be ready to go if needed as well. QB should not be a worry right now.

I think it helps the run game because we now have 2 big arms that can keep the defense on their heels if Canales takes the leash off of the QB's. They are not running threats or at least that is the opinion but with more established routes and use of TE's the running game should flourish.

This is a Democrat, but I am sick of the Repugnicans as well. Hare does not care about Constitution Rove, Romney, Graham, Pelosi, Reid, McCain are all built in the same boat. 4-3 Win over Denver Nice win over (short-handed) Denver, although worried about the losses at #1-2 Singles. Will be a battle at Conference Tournament if Denver is fully healthy.

So since the NCAA is so high on Academics, how does adding an extra few days of travel during the school year help the academics of said students? I am just saying.

Guess all of his waiting turned for not and we got him, nice to have him and that he saw that it was not greener on the other side.

To be fair the Tennis has always won quite a few matches, but were beating the lower tier teams such as SFA, SHSU, and such, then would lay an egg in a big match against a ranked school. Lama's record is also not as impressive currently because of what happened in his first year where he was playing 3 walk-ons, so he had no chance of winning. The two previous coaches Traxler and Denny all did well but could never crack the ranking nor into the Top Tier of Sun Belt schools, Lama now has UNT firmly in the Top 3-4 teams the last 3 years. Local fans hopefully you can make it over to the Tennis Center on Friday to catch the Denver match as it will be huge for the team, then they play Louisville on Sunday.

This is nice to have,but the ladies need to focus on Denver this Fridayin order to cinch up the #2 seed for Conference behind FIU. Regardless Lama has done a great job and he has two excellent coaches backing him up.

V-Ball goes 3-1 Sounds like a good start to what was a bad team, or so it seemed.

I did go to Sam for 2 years so guess I am a Bearkat fan as well, but to say it is frustrating watching all the close games and then see our score is a an understatement, but attack me if you would like for wanting more. Hope JJ casn get the guys motivated.

Going about like the Yahoo Preview read, UNT can get real sloppy and they have been, while playing some matador like defense letting the guys right by. Guess #15 seed is correct, although wish we could be more like a Robert Morris or Sam Houston right now.

If JJ would have gotten the guys ready for Boise St. trip it would not be an issue, then add in early losses to FIU and ULL, plus a weak OOC and we get what we get. I am just happy to see them in the tournament, as for Baylor being overrated?? Many have them beating Nova and possibly Duke in the easiest region.

I think blowing our chance at a good OOC win in Boise was a much bigger factor, plus sneaking by TX Southern is not overly impressive.

Just like GM recalling a large number as well has been swept under the rug by the MSM since the Gov't now has a large stake in GM, but Toyota is evil.
