Put a defense to go with it and you have 4-1 or 5-0 coach. Hope DM utilizes the offensive fire power next year.

UNT won their Conference 4 straight years and got the automatic bowl bid, ISU never won their conference and had one great year with Sage Rosenfels and then the other 3 years were 7 win seasons, which as a BCS school gets them into a bowl game.

Well UNT also had the opportunity to hire a coach that is +80 games over .500 and not 30 below .500. So DM must have one hell of an interview face. Guess with all the new DM fandoms coming out the wood work certain members should be going bonkers, but that was only for Canales. Oh well. Welcome DM and good luck.

Ummm he did not beat ULM due to piss poor defense, but he did beat pre-season contender MTSU and destroyed WKU. Dodge only eeked by WKU 2 straight years and was beaten to a pulp every year by MTSU. Wish Canales luck wherever he ends up and hope Mccarney proves many wrong. Maybe by the time he leaves UNT he will be around -15 under .500.

Always count on you to tear down anything that Canales has done with the team. Troy sucks this year, MTSU was horrible, FAU stinks, Kansas State is horrible this year. Yippee hope you feel much better now. Mccarney better come in and turn some heads, there should be no 3-4 year wait and see when his recruits all get here.

I think DeLoach's defensive breakdown against ULM is what changed the tide, beat ULM and Canales might be the man.
