I think the coaches deserve criticism, this team was lost for about and 8 game stretch of the season and calling 8-8 in Sun Belt Play during a down year, with a Senior laden team an ok result is sad. Thankfully they stepped up and managed to dominate 3 opponents to get to the Finals. As for the finals the team played great, but it was coaching at the end. Where was this sympathy for Dodge, he more major injuries than JJ? Disingenuous to come onto a forum and defend one coach but not another who had much greater injuries to deal with. Are you going to defend the WBB team as well?

hmmm, sounds like par for the course still. Just sad that the school just does not seem to get it with 100K alumni living in the region.

I am not calling him a quitter, but I could see JJ being much like Pelphery, takes a big time job with lots of cash and then does little. Love for JJ to stay, but if he wants to go find another position, thanks for the times. He will miss out on one hell of a recruiting class he has signed and sealed already.

JJ does not know how good he has it here, he can underachieve with a senior-laden team and the fans will be happy because he got 20 wins. If he gets out-coached by Sun Belt Coaches he will be in trouble at a bigger conference. Let him take the offers though, if he does not truly want to be here especially with the class he has coming in then so be it. The grass is not greener on the other side, only the money is green and there is more of it for a short period of time.

Dominates Xavier 7-0 Nice to see a full and healthy team. Hopefully a good confidence boost leading to the FIU/USA Trip next week. Opposing Coaches have high regards to the team when healthy. Plenty of Key matches coming that will determine seeding for Championships starting with FIU in Miami next week. Future important matches: Northwestern State -- Veteran Team with new coach but very dangerous, UT-Arlington -- saw them dismantle UCA last weekend and then blitz NW State. Troy and MTSU -- should be wins but they need to be convincing. Right still think team will be a #3 seed unless ULM loses soon or we pull out a road win over FIU, Denver seems to be nipping on the heels as they had a close loss to Tx Tech 4-3 and beat Colorado.

not will several losses to teams RPI 250 and lower. Maybe CBI but also doubtful. Going 8-8 in the Belt will get you invited no where.
