From the extra money our 3 highest paid coaches should be bring in over the next few years due to wins and getting out in community bringing in more MGC members.

Add in the Sun Belt having to redraw the Tennis bracket as well, has been a complete cluster this year in the minor sports.

Add Baseball and then add Women's Bowling for Title 9 purposes, SHSU in first year went to NCAA Championships, SFA and Arky State both have programs as well.

13 strokes out now, complete meltdown at +7 for the day. Guess the pressure has gotten to them, must like the track team on the last day of their Championships.

fast start today going -2 so far and hopped into T7, but 4 strokes off as UT going -3 already Need to hope Ohio State does not go on a tear again like yesterday. Also we are starting on the back 9 which seems to have played easier.

It appears the front 9 plays much tougher than the back 9, seems to have been the conistent view watching the teams as they go from front to back and vice versa.

Mean Green Sports Love the pick-up of Starkova, probably play Top 3, mainly was a #5-6 at UA, McNeese Player is interesting. She has up and down results, probably put her at #5 or #6. Good result against Claire Clark (probably #2 player in Sun Belt), lost bad to Lamar and UTA #1's and the losses to TX State #1 are not good, but she will be great for depth. Do like that the freshman from Ukraine has qualified for several lower tier WTA tournaments. Hopefully the 2 freshmen can break into the Upperclass heavy team, believe I count at least 3 juniors and 3 Seniors and then 2 freshmen. 2011-12 Season could be a great season with this added depth. Also hoping the 2 freshmen from this year were able to find a home somewhere.

disappointing round for Jones seeing as he has been here before with LSU and was going to be counted on. Hopefully he can turn it around.

Not to rain on the parade but I thought Tony Mitchell is not allowed contact with basketball team until he has 24 hrs complete? So confused how AD can do this article for a player who is not yet eligible for the team per NCAA Regulations? Now if this came straight from main UNT website no issue, but from athletics seems a little odd. Or am I mistaken? Regardless this is awesome exposure and look forward to seeing Mitchell on the court in Mean Green colors.

The storms that tore apart Central AR the last 2 days have moved east. Hopefully they have lost some of their power by the time they reached NW Alabama. They did number here, more or less leveling half a town 15 miles east of Conway.

Congrats to the 2 Srs and best of luck in their future, hope if true the two frosh will be able to find new homes somewhere, know a local university looking for a few players. Also officiated 2 consecutive 5-4 matches today, talk about high intensity (yes even in DIII), one team blew a 7-4 lead in doubles, final match on court was 3:30 war with both players cramping at the end.

In this case USA is not good this year and FAU did not beat anyone of note other than a 4-3 win over Troy. In fact FAU had beaten USA 7-0 last month in Boca Raton with #1-2 being close matches but blowouts at #3-5. FAU should not have been ahead of Denver probably not even Troy despite a close win.

The Sun Belt Seeding Committee is an absolute Joke right now for the Tennis Seeding on the Women's Side. Sun Belt Sports How in the world do you put ASU and ULL over Denver and UNT in the seedings? Also no way Troy and FAU are better than Denver and even UNT should not be higher than Denver. This actually might work out well for UNT getting the #6 seed being opposite of Denver and FIU. How the heck do they think Denver is worse than Troy, when Denver beat UNT 4-0 and UNT beat Troy 4-1. FAU beat noone!! ASU lost to Troy yet gets #4 seed This makes my head hurt but looks great for UNT to run to the Finals. Only team that could beat them will be ULM and I am not sold on them outside of their #1 Player. I think the team should sweep USA again and then clash with ULL in QTR.

Tennis Closes Season with Win Good job to ladies winning to close season with wins over MTSU and Troy Guess being negative Nellie: not good to see Madura/Paula losing at #3 doubles, unless sick or injured. Surprised to see Irina lose in singles as well. Wish the 2 frosh could have pushed into the line-up by now but it is what it is. Curious to see who might sign for 2011.
