  1. We now get to see JJ's raise and extension put to the test, does he have the coaching ability to steady the ship and continue winning. The talent is there.
  2. Expect about as much as 2 others
  3. wow so no one is blame for this debacle, really. How hard is it to maintain a 1.8 GPa when you have advisers at your fingertips. Why was JJ and staff not checking on these guys. For crying out loud we used to require quarterly reports from professors for progress. I do not give a damn about JJ's record all this does is tarnish it and shows he will do anything to win games. These guys should have been sat down as soon as grades were posted. I am sorry but Jones and Williams deserve transfere a bit of blame, but sounds like Dodge is not the only one with Teflon now days
  4. yeah 28% is great shooting, but you can pull the stick out whenever you feel like it.
  5. Wait are we sure JJ still wants him if he is not jacking up threes every chance he gets??
  6. Then please inform everyone on what Academically Ineligible means, this coming from the UNT Compliance Office. It means he had below a 1.8 or 2.0 Cumulative GPA or he did not have enough hrs to meet Sr Standing (which is 96 hrs, actually 72, believe NCAA only requires 24 hrs a year to be considered forward progress) So unless Patton only took 12 hrs a semester with no summer school, then this does fall on him and class work. If he does not step on the court this year then it was a complete waste if a scholarship when the team has obvious needs.
  7. So guess he forgets that A&M is also being led to slaughter as well in the SEC, hmm
  8. I am a jerk, but I could care less if Patton practices with the team, he could have been used this year for sure but he did not do his job in the class room. Now will he be here next year?? Who knows if he can actually get his %&*# together in the classroom, otherwise he is a wasted scholarship.
  9. nice way for the guys to finish the 1st half. This what they needed having their best players sitting but still going on a huge run. Keep it up for half #2
  10. I am not worried about our 3 pt Shooting, I am worried about our 3 pt Defense, we have made many teams look Larry Birdesque this season.
  11. would be a huge pick-up
  12. RV promises lots of things and does not follow thru so not surprising we would end up with the crappiest home schedule next year. To bad the President and BOR appear fine with this.
  13. I disagree RV did not get this stadium, he had his chance back in 2004 or so and failed, the SGA and students got RV this stadium and he failed miserably at filling it up this year.
  14. you mean like the Head Coach maybe
  15. not really sure RV has done any work since he got "his" stadium opened. One would think his hands would be asleep after sitting on them for so long.
  16. Considering he only needs a 2.0 or maybe even a 1.8 to be NCAA eligible, it is pretty sad that he can not maintain a C- average
  17. sounds like coaching to me, same mistakes from OOC carrying over into Conference, but apparently I just need to smoke some weed.
  18. So has Niko been "Osborned"
  19. Ok so it is now a pillow fight, last week UALR was in the 300's, but if JJ is half the coach his fandom believes him to be this should not even be a close game.
  20. UALR RPI wise is one of the worst teams in the country, this should be a beatdown.
  21. how about we stop making excuses for our youth, inexperience,etc... and just go blow out LSU like we did last year. That would be the easy thing to do.
  22. With Byrd and the incoming Freshmen, I think we will be fine at RB, nothing against Dunbar but outside of MUTS he was not himself all year.
  23. whom interesting, so this means we should be favorites over FIU next year with their new 1st year coach and our now 2nd year coach.
  24. Box Score showed 3150 or so
