looks like the ladies won the doubles pt and Singles 1-3, need to beef up the bottom of the line-up and a little disappointed in FR in the singles, but it is early. Minnesota is ranked #41

http://www.aggieathletics.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=27300&ATCLID=206132160 Good job winning the doubles pt as the #2 team was down early and came back. Aggies are just very good in singles and have depth as at #5 their FR beat UNT SR. Play MN (#41) today

Think A&M took it, they jumped out in singles fast. Was watching UFC so missed the final score, but was getting ugly quick

untbowler replied to smoothfresh's topic in Mean Green Football
Very nice schedule and all conference games are easy drives for fans, if they do not mind interstate drives to Tulane and Hattiesburg (8-10 hrs from DFW. Should be fun for all. Thanks CUSA scheduler -
About what I expected, none of the other teams are at UNT's level as whole team, they may have a few players but UNT has the great Depth. Find it amazing traveling 9 players.

good win guys, should shut some up for a few days or at least turn down the flames on the torches and pitchforks until Thursday

http://www.meangreensports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=1800&ATCLID=206003860 Should be a good start for the team, curious to see how the FR will do as the team will need them for sure this spring. With the level of teams there should expect a few Flights to be brought home.

Hope it would be Fayetteville, but they run scared from all of the state schools thanks to their egotistical AD and BOT
-
UALR just lost to Troy, so all is not lost as long as Benford does not suspend more players.
-
Next year will be interesting because the top of CUSA is strong with Rice, Tulane, and Tulsa. Lama will need to pull in a solid recruit to compete at the top end.
-
MMMH at least Jonesboro has bought into ASU, unlike Denton. Rocks in a glass house.

http://www.meangreensports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=1800&ATCLID=2058628 Bardabush won the Cotton Bowl Tournament over the weekend. Very good field and she be the TX Tech #1 in the finals, also she beat Patricia Zerdan who played at SMU in the early 2000's going to NCAA Tournament. Also Early Commit Thoma had a nice tournament. beat a current Air Force Player, beat the #1 seed (Played at Valpo), and lost to Bardabush in SF. Looks like a good addition if she keeps improving

Breaking news — UNT lands top JC cornerback
untbowler replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
nice pick-up for the staff, well done -
very true, I watched violent movies from a young age, played violent video games, shot guns and have never killed another creature or human. It all goes back to being grounded in reality and discipline knowing right from young. Also gun laws did not/could not have stopped this tragedy, this young man for whatever reason had it for his parents and decided to also take his life and 20 young innocent kids. Bless the families as they attempt to move on. Nothing the school did could have prevented this IMO.
-
there is a special place in hell for this piece of s***, how can a parent gun down their own child and then continue on hurting other innocent children. Just sickening. ** Further rant: To those already out there saying bring metal detectors and have armed guards at schools, just shut the f up already. How about society start raising there damn kids and hope kids stop having kids, the shooter was 20 with a freakin kindergarten, where was his family and why was he so pissed at the world that he would kill 18 innocent children. I'll still be taking my 2 older kids to school and getting my 2 little ones prepared for future at school but locking down everything does nothing but show the crazies they have one. Time for personal responsibility and parenting to make a rebound. I feel I am a sub-par parent but I make sure my kids understand right from wrong and try to lead them on the right path and hope they make right decisions but still stand by them, but killing little kids is just unimaginable to me.

Really the current set of coaches have at least 5x more to work in regards to facilities, compensation, and support than previous generations of coaches.
