sorry but no way to gloss over this one, that is just a straight up bad loss to an average team, after getting trounced by Memphis. I know end of season and players worn out and injured but so are many of the other teams. Need to beat UTSA and hope to remain in Top 4 seeds. I'll probably see UTA in a few weeks at Sun Belt Championships and can get a better view of them at that time, but this loss stings. Thought they would beat UTSA, but looking at comparable results UTSA dominated UTA at lines #1-2 so could be a fight on their hands.

there is no doubt that RV is a hug step up from Helwig but that does not say much, as for facility improvements, they had to be done and sorry RV did not get the stadium passed, the SGA and students did it despite the BOR and RV. Then the BOR screws that up by allowing LJ to go down and screw up an easy bill. So yes everything has improved but where are the wins, where are the 10's of millions of donations that RV promised when hired?

so randomly ran into 3 Ball State students last night, they were on their way to S PAdre Island, while sitting in parking lot called I-40W due to overturned tractor trailer blocking all lanes. Chatted some with them and they had nothing but good things to say about UNT especially the Defense and one mentioned Chancellor. Just thought it was cool to randomly meet some fans from other schools who talked highly of UNT Football.

We need to remember it was Dodge's recruits that won it last year, now it is time for DMac's recruits to show up and continue. All DMac did was get the SR's to buy-in and in their 4th and 5th years they got it. Now it is all on DMac. Dodge sucked as a college coach but he certainly did not leave the cupboard bare.
