sorry the defense did tire in the 4th and who could blame them for being frustrated, they gave the offense great field position along with special teams several times and Lil Mc and his offense did nothing but squander points.

If RV would have allowed TD to retain some of DD's coaches he would have been much better off, but for the disastrous record TD was a great ambassador for UNT and if you look at the last 2 yrs of his tenure there were so many close games that just could not pull out

Much like fans can get criticized as fair weather would donors not be the same, donors should donate to the school, not the AD, I hope when/if we get a new AD that the new AD will be able to continue the donor pipeline and then build even more on the pathetic MGC numbers present. UNT just needs it right now to grow and remain relevant

if this scenario goes down, I see RV being canned before the start of the new year or at least forced into retirement. If he somehow survives into 2016 and Benford sinks again, he is for sure gone as Benford should be as well. Patterson was a disaster at UT and he deserves to get the boot. He alienated donors and minor coaches alike, such as the Women's Tennis Coach who lasted 9 months and left, mainly because he started limiting coaches to only a certain amount of meals in the cafeteria while meeting with players amongst other garbage. He also was not well liked by most of the alumni. Hmm not that does start sounding familiar in a minor sort of way

This was not his first game for crying out loud, he is a freaking 5th yr Senior, who supposedly according to the coach knows the playbook forwards and backwards, just stop with the cop out that it was his first game. He has quite the track record, hell he played against a rebuilding SMU and sucked, not like Greer who had to face UT or DW who had to face Indiana. If he can not get up for a 1st game in his 5th season then there is an obvious answer.

We could have spent less and gotten similar results, hell our Ole Ball coach got his a$$ handed to him by a brand new HC and that says a lot.
