When you can not get grades after 3-4 yrs in school, that points to a maturity issue of getting your s**t done.

Considering Smith has a grade and maturity problem I would take Golson in a heartbeat

I agree she is upgrading the talent but that is for 2016/17. I am looking at 2015/16, Pete signed a couple solid players but is there enough depth to make it in 2015/16, with no now 3 scholarships going to 16/17 season

Marshall had a couple of ranked wins, they are not a bad team, I personally think La Tech is way underseeded. They are better than FAU, Charlotte, UTSA etc... I think seeds 2-5 very similar. Although looking at results I see MTSU beat ODU so they probably should have been a #3 seed. I think if they would have played UNT and won, as I think they would have, they could have gotten #3. ODU beating Marshall 7/0 is probably what got them the seeding. I am not sure La Tech is an easy out though in round 1.

Actually a very good draw for the ladies on the opposite half of Rice and Marshall and Old Dominion are not a dominate #2 team like Tulsa was.

Think MTSU or ODU at #3/4 range, UTSA losing to UTEP,UAB and FIU will push them down. I would prefer getting the 3 or 6 seed an stay away from Rice half. Would not want to be on the seeding committee this, although I honestly think the girls are closer to a 3 seed talent wise versus 4-6, but results just not there.

hard to tell where the team sits right now, they play some tight matches but then throw in some questionable losses, the UTSA loss will be a tough one come seeding time. Rice and Marshall probably 1/2, but after that who knows, UTSA beat UNT, but MTSU, FIU, UAB all beat UTSA. There is no consistency from match to match. beat Kansas but lose to UTSA and NW State They can be anywhere from 4 seed to an 8 seed depending on coaches meeting.

Volleyball Wise in the last 4 years their Coaches are now at Ole Miss and Mississippi State, so they can coach at little old UCA

I am sure RV is looking at a another P5 that can off-load another coach for 1/4 million buyout before they have to fire that coach.
