You're correct, Tyler. If you never take any risk in life you technically never fail. Of course you try to limit risk, but if you actually do things, there is risk. It's easy to not take any risk and just sit back and point out the failings of others that actually tried.

Yeah, we couldn't even celebrate the lady's win last night without the RV diarrhea splattering all over the thread. Miserable people are just going to be miserable.

It's probably healthy for the program to lose some of the fans who believe they are personally injured by all this mess. If your sense of purpose is so tired into a football team, that it causes you to spend money to try to injure someone, then walk away. I love UNT as much as anyone here, but I refuse to lose sleep over this program. I'll support every kid that signs up to play for my university, regardless of the coach or AD.

Come on Gray, you can't reason with blind rage. I kninda like every topic to have 7 snide remarks and 3 statements that are completely untrue. All the the same people, over and over and over.... How many times in the past have coaches completely denied interviews, only to sign a contract for twice their salary 3 days later?

I guess they do have a game tomorrow, however, if he's the guy it'll probably happen pretty quickly now that the cat is out of the bag. Like most things in life, there's never a "good" time. Our new coach's old team will be just fine. Might inspire our kids too knowing what's coming.

I did that years ago. Several other yahoos, too. Great feature. There were some posters who make me want to never come to this forum. That's too bad because there's a lot of great folks here who actually know what they're talking about and can do it without acting like a spoiled 4 year old.

Well, if it was started by a troll then they got me. However, it was a perfect call because it sounds so RV.

I hate to get on a bandwagon, but this guy is exactly what we don't need here. He's an old school a-hole type coach. I don't care what he did at Kansas. He's not the type of coach this program needs. Plus, he's 200 pounds overweight. That's a serious health risk, whether that's PC or not.

I have some serious health concerns with that guy. He's going to die on a sideline. I'd prefer it's not ours. I'm not trying to fat shame. He's a serious health risk.

Recruiting is extremely important, but I think player development is equally as important. I don't believe for a second that the right coaching staff would not be winless with tga exact same group of kids we have here now. No to Davis for all the stated reasons. I like the potential of the other two. I'd still like to go the coordinator route but I also like options.

I never really forgave Dickey for those type statements. Mac had no excuse. That type of attitude upsets me, too. We won 9 games and a bowl game. The players came. They weren't given the proper development. That's coaching, not recruiting.

That's awful. Hope he heals quickly and has no long term issues.

I'd really like to go the "up and coming coordinator" route. Nothing to base that on other than we've tried the ultra conservative route with Mac.

I agree with you, @harry. You Ana's a handful of posters are the only reason I came back to this site. The hatefulness thrown around here is embarrassing. I think RV has accomplished all he can do at NT. I'm ready for new leadership. You'd think he committed some kind of heinous crime. The people that are so hateful and petty deserve their misery.

Not really a fan of his either. Certainly a splash name, though.
