Mine is ArtCarved also. It looks similar to the A&M ring, but I set the record straight if I get asked by any pesky aggie. I love the new ones and considered getting one when I got my masters in 2003, but I chose to stick with my old one. I’ve been wearing it 13 years and have grown attached to it.

mngrnprdofit, Don't say that too loud you or you might be run off the board! I have taken classes at 5 different universities, but have two degrees from NT. I still root for these other schools (not over UNT under any circumstance), but get chided from time to time for not being loyal.

I had similar feeling one time when I saw a bumper sticker that said something like “North Texas Cornhuskers”. I guess Nebraskans have to stick together wherever they are. It was a little confusing when I first saw the sticker.

Corby on the Ticket went to TCU and UNT, but supports OU. I guess Criag Miller also went to UNT and supports OU. It's easy to like a team that wins all the time. It is much harder to support your team when they have losing teams. Tech has a good history of sports. Nothing like a fair weather fan. If Tech were winning championships that person might support them. I don't get it.

I read an article about the director (Baylor Grad). Said something about focusing on the “political” climate of the times. Not just that the Mexican army invaded Texas. I’m going to give it a chance.

My name is Matt and I graduated in ‘92 with a degree in Criminal Justice. As long as I don’t choke, I will graduate this May with a Master’s in Library Science. I’m impressed to see how many people have multiple degrees from UNT. I think that is a very good sign. I currently live in Irving, but my wife and I are building a house about 10 miles east on Denton on 380. I’m looking forward to being that close to Denton on a regular basis. I attended the UT game and the NMSU game this past year. I will be getting season tickets for the upcoming season and hopefully will maintain them until I croak. I very much enjoy supporting UNT and defend the university at every opportunity.
