Well, I want to talk about how much I don’t like the uniforms/helmets/logos/font etc. and how the DRC writers hate us. Waaaaaaaaah

Probably. We are the proverbial "panties in a wad" group.

We have known for a long time that there would be no new uniforms this year. Several months. I don't know why everyone acts so surprised. It will be okay, I don’t think anyone is not going to come to a game or watch a game because they “just can’t stand to look at that uniform.” If that is the case, then we don’t need them as a fan. I guess in the future the university should okay everything they do with Tony. He obviously has the only opinion that counts and everything he doesn’t like is dog poo.

I agree with that completely. It just gets old sometimes seeing people whine and moan about things. I kind of like using NT over UNT also, but it doesn't make that big of a difference in the scheme of things. I have no feelings one way or the other on LJ or any of that mess. Blanket statements like "we could do better than that, or I could do better than that" are just dumb and easy to say. UNT is a huge organization with a huge number of people involved. There is no way to please everyone. Some people need to make there peace with it and move on. Is it a green dump you refer to?

I saw in the paper where UT lost three to grades. It can happen anywhere. If the kid doesn't want to show up, you can't make him. No matter how much recourses your school has. Byerly is not on the team because he chose to be. Not because the mechanism wasn’t there to help him succeed as a student.
