Rick, I hope you are right. We really need to get off to a good start. Everyone should be rested. It will be hot, but not smothering. I think the guys are tired of the butt kicking and ready to return the favor. I'm excited and scared at the same time. Kind of like both my wedding days.

The problem is Rick, why do you care who others root for? Everybody that pays attention on this board knows you hate "tU". And we should care, why? I have a lot of respect for all the work you do for our university. You are a champion through and through for all things green. I have strong ties to the supposed $$ schools. I wish them well. That doesn't mean I'm a traitor to NT. Your obsession just fuels the fire. If you can’t take the heat, quit being a UNT fan. Yeah, it’s easy to be a fan of a team that is successful or has more resources. However, it doesn’t make you a bad person if you went to school there or root for them. I agree completely. That’s one reason I was so disappointed about the game. The crowd was great. Flags where flying all over the parking lot. Smoke coming up everywhere. Music playing. It was just awesome. New turf looks great. Everything was perfect. Hopefully everyone had a great time and will be back. The whole day needs to be an event. Not just the 4 quarters of the game.

The refs seemed to call a lot of penalties on us, but we wouldn't have been competitive if there where no refs at all.

I hate to complain, but getting a delay of game penalty after a kick off kind of tells it all in my book.

Good point. They have to recruit against UF, FSU, Miami etc. We have our own schools to recruit against. Texas high schools have put out a few good athletes, too.....
