I was real pleased with the attendance. Other than the last game the crowd was very nice size. Of course lots of room for improvement. Hopefully next year will be even better. The AD has made the football games more of an event. If we can challenge for the conference next year and not have a game after TG it should be even better.

Do they still play soccer at the Cotton Bowl since they finished the field in Frisco?

Agreed 100%. I had two people get upset with me Saturday for yelling at the coaches??? I will continue to be in my seats yelling at the coaches again next year.

I have to agree with KindDL on this one. I’ve never been a big fan of DDs, but I have enjoyed the conference success and bowl games. I just get really tired of the constant remarks about the “situation” he has to work in. I think it is time for a new face. DD has laid a solid foundation, but I think it is going to take someone else to build upon that. DD has topped out here. There is a reason coaches move around a lot. You get to a point where the situation needs a fresh look. The fans are coming. When was the last time we had a crowd that big when we where 2-8? I don’t think DD will be fired because of the financial obligations, but it wouldn’t hurt my feelings if he found employment elsewhere.

I have a really hard time believing Dodge would go to SMU. That is not a stepping stone. Too many drawbacks and not enough upside. I'd take him in a heart beat but I don't think UNT is in his plans either. I wouldn't be surprised if he left to become offensive coordinator at some large BCS school and moved up the latter that way. I have nothing to back this up, but just my opinion.
