2 more passes a game is not "opening up" the offense. We where down in a lot of those games and had to pass.

So size is directly related to intelligence? Bigger = dumber? I must be average smarts cause I’m about average size.

I have 4 tattoos, one of which is NT related. It is a black outline of an eagle (spread). Sort of native American looking. It has green highlights on the ends of the wings. I thought it was pretty cool. Be careful what you say about chicks with tattoos. My wife has two and to say the she is disgusting or gross because of it is a little much. I think she’s pretty hot.

It would be difficult to translate into less success on the field.

I'm not so sure 60% to 70% of our players should come from DFW. We should be able to recruit all over texas. We should have a steady pipeline into east Texas. I would like for players all over the state feel like NT was a place for them.

Since I went to Carroll is it okay for me to root for them?

I sure hope so. I think a lot of people tolerated DD because of the conference championships. I'm pretty forgiving, but his jabs at the school, fans, and facilities rub me the wrong way. He seems to me to be a real player’s coach, but he needs to be a fan's coach too.

I'm not calling for DD's head. Other than UT, there is not a team on the schedule next year that we can't play with. Of course we are not going 10-1, but I think to shoot for less is unacceptable. Yeah, those guys are about the same when it comes to shady characters. I met Neiheisal a few years ago when he was still at Colorado. He seemed like a really good guy. Seems to have left a path of destruction behind him, though.

You bring up some good points. I do believe some coaches are just better at coaching. That includes practice drills all the way through play calling during games. I don't think there is any one type of coach that is better than others. DD seems to be a players coach, but that hasn't really translated to any kind of big time success. Coaches like Steve Spurrier seem to be a real a$$ but kids still go to school where he coaches and they win a lot of games. Some coaches may put in more hours than others and prepare there teams better. When I was in high school we consistently beat teams with much more "talent" because we played as a team and not as individual players. Rushing and passing statistics for players was not kept. Who knows what the best philosophy is, but I do believe some coaches are much better than others and have the success to prove it.
