Funny, my boss was run off a few years ago and everyone was going to quit because of it. The new boss turned out to be great, and no one quit. Just an emotional time. Life goes on.

No. I have a feeling Neinas has been working for the last 4 weeks even if the contract wasn't signed until just recently. 4 weeks isn't a short amount of time for hiring a coach. It makes no sense that it would be Chico.

It's sad anyone considered the past 4 games as a tryout. It was in no way fair to Canales for that to be the case. His coaching career should be his selling point. Not interim status at NT. I just hope people stop blindly following him because he won a couple of games. There could be some really great candidates out there but people would emotionally jump on the Canales bandwagon. All coaches lose. Hopefully this will be over soon and we can focus on the future. I still think we need clean slate.

Sorry SAM, I want a fresh start too. Clean slate. After you divorce your wife, it's not a good idea to go hanging around with her sisters. No matter how good they might look. It's a fail waiting to happen.

I don't think anyone is saying that. I think it's more blindly following someone because they have a lot of enthusiasm and coached 2 victories over less than stellar teams. Canales should stand on his body of work, not 3 weeks of it. The guy is really likable. No one on this board should take this coaching search personal. If you are taking it personal you are either too involved with one of the candidates, or need to get a life.

It did sound like a cannon when Josh hit the shot to send it in to overtime. I love high fiving total strangers all around you!! The concession lines were down the hall the entire time during halftime. I couldn’t bring myself to miss any of the game so I went thirsty. Small price to pay.

Hell yeah!! Just got home. The pit crew was awesome. Loved seeing so many there. So glad we went. The boys played with a lot of heart and were all money down the stretch.

I can live with this.
